Who's a deceased/unused character that you wish would make a return to the stories? I personally would like to see Pyro get a return with a modern upgrade i.e. losing the flamethrower outfit.

Puma. Definitely. He's a really cool character and he could work just as well as a Hero as he could as a Villain.

Or Nate Grey/ X-man. I'm a big fan of Nate especially when he lost his telepathy and was purely TK. The earth in the MU needs at least one more person with Telekinesis dammit.

Most recently, the Enchantress almost f***ed up reality trying to resurrect the Executioner in the God-Size Thor one-shot.

Wild Child has always been one of my faves. I like those little feral guys. He popped up in that Lupine arc of Wolverine and then did the big fade. He probably won't be around again anytime soon.

Seconded. the original alpha flight should even still be alive in space somewhere if you pay attention to the continuity. Some writer should use that little tidbit of info and bring em back to make those Omega Flight saps feel stupid.

All right, I get that people miss Alpha Flight, but what's so wrong with Omega Flight? It's composed entirely of great characters. It's hardly their fault Bendis randomly decided to kill off Alpha Flight for no reason.

Besides, they've lost so many members lately that they're practically not even a team anymore.

Well USAgent for one. It pissed me off that he was a member of Canada's premiere superteam. Also Michael Pointer (another non-canadian), who KILLED the original alpha flight was rewarded by being granted the title and costume of Guardian, their leader.

Then there's the fact that "Omega Flight" was already the team name of Alpha Flights villains. A bunch of super villains.

There's also the way Omega Flight came about. Namely a cheap, poorly written slaughter of the original team just so they could pump out these flashy replacements.

... So to answer your question, with the exception of Sasquatch, Talisman and Beta Ray Bill, Everything was wrong with Omega flight.

i agree with everything that VAN said. ALpha flight went out like suckers and these were dudes who took on all the X-men. i would also just like to say . i always have and always will hate the character of USagent. I think he is a worthless character. i could see if he was his own character, but he never amounted to anything and to stick him in a flight team made me mad. I love Beta Ray Bill of all the "clones" of establish heroes. i have to say i like him best. But to me he is a cosmic character and needs to be out in space with the guardians ,not on a superteam in Toronto.of course you could say the same thing about thor in Kansas. Which as much as i love Thor's book he too needs to get out of floating 5 inches over kansas and move asgard back into space too.

I actually have no problem with USAgent as a character. He just should never under any circumstances been a member of Alpha Flight or any newer version.

It'd be like if you had a "Team America" and on it's roster was Union Jack, Crymson Dynamo, and a bunch of former members of Big Hero Six.

He was on loan from the US government to the Canadian government. It's not that big a deal. All this antipathy mostly stems from Bendis' killing of Alpha Flight, which was lame but pretty much unconnected to Omega Flight. Omega Flight merely filled the void Bendis' lame plot point created.
