Nope, but if more people CARED and stopped shrugging their damn shoulders for "the good of the story", we'd have more titles on time.

Like Teen Titans.

JUST like Teen Titans. I mean ALL titles. Ultimates 2 is great, but it SUCKS that I have to try to remember what the hell happened last issue because it came out 4 months ago.

True, but I bring it up because you use 52 as an example of timely comics, when its clear that their other titles have suffered because of it, time wise.

Answer: Hire more talent.

52 works because of the staff behind it. If all the titles were at the mercy of the EDITORS rather than the ARTISTS AND WRITERS, they'd be on time.

actually we're not. Fanboys defy logic, they refuse to accept an objective point of view. Fans can accept the good AND the bad and give a balanced view on events. It's such a tired response. People who automatically bash without any frame of reference or people who automatically defend without viewing the source are fanboys. Me I look at what happened, have a bit of a think about it and then draw my own conclussion. Hence, not a fanboy.

Do you, in your heart of hearts and dreamy dreams, REALLY think it will always run on time?

How can there be an objective POV in appreciation of comic books?

Anything is possible.

I AM a whiney fan boy, and you know for a fact that i love my YA. It's not okay for a comicbook to be deemed a monthly and not be monthly. At best, YA was a bi or tri-monthly maxie series. And it's not like Allan is he only person who can write the YA, that's like Saying every character Stan Lee ever created can't be writen without him. I know Allan has ideas, but he should have had help if he wanted to do other things. Don't say a book will come out, call it monthly, then say that you have no idea what's happening. I will give it time, I can wait, but I won't wait that much longer. The show he's writing sucks, but he's doing it because it's something he loves to do, That's fine. But you'll have your comicbook fans and your tv fans. If you can't prove to be able to do both, you have no business doing both.

Sadly, books dont get sold because of the editor on the book, id go as far to say, creative teams drive sales, not the characters themselves, so i dont see that happening.

Well I can say that spidey is acting like an ass at the moment (pre latest ASM) because of his actions. If he turns it around (as JMS is doing at the moment) then I will commend him for it. But i like to read the books and then make a decision. People who take into account source material can formulate an objective opinion on anything. People who bash spidey because of what happened 10 years ago without taking into account anything that's happened over the last 10 years are fanboys.

Logic is fun

there is no time set yet for it... so you have no date for it to run on time

And yet, Jim Lee and Liefeld at the height of their Marvel fame were still hitting deadlines.

They couldn't handle it, and went on to Image to be rock stars and start the trend of bullcrap we're dealing with today.

exactly... fanboys see it there way only, and are very pushy about getting there way... they dont weigh in variables, they just expect too much as well as demand too much and wont even think about accepting anything less.. theres no reasoning with them, thats why many directors have even said they'd never touch a/another comic movie
