Now THAT is Lara!^OMG look wise I could totally see it epsecially in that second pic. She can do action apparently from BS but I don't know about her acting ability since I've only seen the trailer to BS. But actually she would work.
EDIT: Just got done googling her and hell yes she would make an awesome Lara.
Julia for Lara Croft!

^Ouch. Bitter sweet. I never thought WB needed a total overhaul like Wanted (although I enjoyed that movie a lot).
Is anyone wondering why Laeta Kalogridis hasn't been hired to write this? She'd be perfect.
If she does well in Shutter Island then I definitely think they should give her a shot at it, if they haven't already, since the first writer they had on it was actually a female. I can't really think of any other female writer that would do something like this off the top of my head. It's probably the same reason why Cameron didn't accept her treatment of a live-action "Battle Angel Alita" script. But I'm not privy to the details on that.
Better not be alot.I like that they are keeping the general premise which means it will be Sara as the wielder at the very least (that was my only main concern really) but I wonder how many liberties they will in fact take.
Exactly! Can we maybe send this to the directors?Better not be alot.
If they want to change things ok, but to me, these are things that should NOT be changed.
-Sara being the Weilder
-Sara being part of the NYPD and being a detective
-Sara being white.(I dont care if they want to make her spanish or whatever, just as long as she isnt asian or black)

I agree. But I was referring more about her writing and how well recieved it is. I like her writing. I even loved Bionic Woman but it had a hard time deciding what it wanted to be. I wish it got a second season to do so. I also think they really screwed up in casting it wasWell, Shutter Island has been suffering marketing problems due to the recession. If it does poorly it's only because the marketing didn't have enough clout to bring in the audience.
worthy.
