With WB's recent announcement of DC Entertainment, I'm hoping the chances of a Wonder Woman film coming out are better. However, Top Cow really does have more of its heroines in production for film.

Given that, is it so bad that Top Cow puts out more superheroine-titled films than mainstream groups like DC and Marvel?

Is anyone wondering why Laeta Kalogridis hasn't been hired to write this? She'd be perfect.

Thats basically like any comic book adaptation really. Just as long as they dont change it too much like they did with Wanted.

I like that they are keeping the general premise which means it will be Sara as the wielder at the very least (that was my only main concern really) but I wonder how many liberties they will in fact take.

If she does well in Shutter Island then I definitely think they should give her a shot at it, if they haven't already, since the first writer they had on it was actually a female. I can't really think of any other female writer that would do something like this off the top of my head.

Edit:

Melissa Rosenberg is another choice. Although the writer doesn't have to be female it would be her aesthetic dark horror parts like her work on Dexter and high fantasy parts like her work on Twilight (although I loathed the first the second one, Eclipse, looks pretty decent especially in comparison).

Well, Shutter Island has been suffering marketing problems due to the recession. If it does poorly it's only because the marketing didn't have enough clout to bring in the audience.

I agree. But I was referring more about her writing and how well recieved it is. I like her writing. I even loved Bionic Woman but it had a hard time deciding what it wanted to be. I wish it got a second season to do so. I also think they really screwed up in casting it was worthy.

I gotta say the more I think about Rhona as Sara the more I love the idea! Just look at her! She looks just like Mike Turner's Sara!

And hot as all get out.

Wow overall fantastic job! One of the best movie mock up posters I've seen for Witchblade! Just the fact that you did the metal bikini and so well is enough to maybe give you the title of best out there.

The metal bikini doesn't look nearly as bad in live action as I thought it would.

This is definitely better than the actual poster art.

And seeing Missy in that metal bikini just might make me want to place her higher on my list as possible Sara's hell she might be number one now.

Bravo.
