Well psychology is really really important part of medicine
It doesn't really make one lose use of their legs for a while, can that happen?
And Gastric Ulcers have been proved to be caused by stress
Let's recap; ignored
People like organic webshooters?
Yes, why would anyone hate them?
Hilarious
I never understood why people called SM2 overrated. Might as well say the same about TDK trilogy or the Avengers.
Nolan films in general are overrated by crazy fanboys, none of them is a masterpiece, and TDK has more annoying moments than many admit (broken continuity with Rachel Dawes views, not her personality, she's fine in Batman Begins)
It's considered a terrific movie by many, but Ock tolerating Spidey's punches to the face, the power loss, and other stupid moments pin it down to a 7/10
Plus people keep bashing MJ in Spider-Man 3, which has actually a better version of Mary Jane, basically the best MJ in the Raimi films (she tolrates, unlike the whiny baby in SM2), but they don't hate her that much in Spider-Man 2, she's completely awful in Spider-Man 2. I lower the score of the movie to reflect that
MJ in SM3:
- Needy? Aren't we all? But forgives mistakes
- She wants to talk, Peter's enthusiasm and overwhelming optimism always interrupts her, that didn't make her whine (with the exception of the apartment scene, which she still acted like a mature person and didn't stop Peter from leaving to save people from the crane, if she kept whining and he stood for her then THAT would be an act of a w****)
- She got angry in the restaurant, but she went there with things still ticking her and tried to have a good time, Peter didn't let her talk, but she didn't show depression. Gwen coming in and her attitude was what broke MJ's patience, she still had a talk with Peter, unlike the complete whiney w**** in Spider-Man 2
- People complain she cheated with Harry cause of a kiss, she wanted a friend to listen to, that kiss was unintended and unplanned, it's a spontanious mistake she and Harry didn't let grow, but people complain about that for her being a cheater. Cheating is for her and Harry keep going, not to stop
- Harry threatened her, instead of letting Peter fight his best friend like a couple of crazy maniacs, Harry went there
- She got slapped and got really annoyed by crazy Peter dancing, but didn't go all whiney about it
She acted more like a mature woman, the kind who would work hard to maintain the house of the family standing, she was showing actual growth, I'm still rooting for Peter to marry her in Spider-Man 4 (in my imaginary scenario)
Now compare her to Spider-Man 2 (the complete whiny cheating w****, the version more deserving of the angry slap she got in SM3):
I still compare her to the 2k3 episode of Kingpin, can't not do that. In the cartoon she asked Peter to show up to her play, she didn't get angry after he missed it the first time although he promised, she gave him a SECOND CHANCE. Although she got angry after he missed her play the second time, she didn't go all berserk on Peter, and still shown maturity after he saw her play after he ended his mission
In Spider-Man 2
- She did not even tell him to go, he promised, but he missed it, and then he talked and mentioned the usher, she didn't take the hint he went late, but he was there, she was angry cause he missed her play once. Is the guy supposed to stand out all the time waiting for you to apologize?
- After that moment she went all out in anger and hatred "Peter, you missed my show, I hate you. Empty seat". Peter reading her poetry is stupid, but hilarious
- Peter goes to see her show, she enjoys it for a while, when he asks her for dinner she bursts out. (You are walking with him, and he did invite you to dinner in the past knowing you has a boyfriend then, but it wasn't so bad for you. B****)
- Promises john Jameson she would marry him, but she goes to a coffee shop to ask Peter to kiss her to see if he really loves her. S***, you're promise to Jameson is much bigger than the promise Peter made to you early in the movie, and you did tell him you have a boyfriend, W****!!!!
- Then she sees Peter is Spider-Man, leaves her groom hanging at the altar and running all the way to Peter with lame excuses and reaction. Again, she broke a much bigger promise than the one Peter made for her, she promised a living of commitment and sanctity, but she broke that promise. It hurts more to see some defend that moment a bit on hate her more in SM3 just because "The man she loves"
