What did you think of the 4th?

That was good aswell but I liked MGS3 better.

Mostly because I like Solid Snake too much to see him getting old like that and never liked Ocelot/Liquid Ocelot as a Villain

You guys didn't know there was another Metal Gear being made? Its marketing was crazy as ****, Kojima trolling everyone about creating another game and such.

Jesus, the MGS5 E3 extended trailer has to be one of the best MGS trailers ever, if not the best. Sutherland being awesome (saying my sig phrase), a lot of violence and mystery. Also, one of the best songs ever made for a Metal Gear. The GDC 2013 trailer was also pretty good, with "Not Your Kind of People" by Garbage as soundtrack. Great.

It's going to look amazing on my PS4 on my 60" Panasonic ZT-60.

I have a 46" Samsung something, probably LCD. It's kinda old and now the image is starting to fade in. If I pause something for 5 minutes or so, it will stay there.

Is that a plasma tv? I've got a 60" Sammy plasma--the picture is effing gorgeous.

Dude I have a 60 Sammy plasma as well. Got it last year. It's just during the day with a lot of sunlight it can be lame. But night time, TASM on blu-ray, or anything on blu-ray, is gorgeous. I actually just picked up the last MGS game recently too, after all these year. Yeah I know I'm super late. But I saw all the trailers for the next one as well. I'll probably end up buying it.

Oh my God. One of the negative comments IGN gave for Elysium was that it's humorless. You gotta be kidding me. That's a bloody bad thing, it's a dark 'R' rated sci-fi action movie like District 9. You were expecting humor. It's like MoS all over again.

I hated Schindler's List too because there was no humor. :o

Yeah, my Sammy is a new one too. Just got it about 4 months ago when my other TV bit the dust. I can't believe the difference in picture quality with Plasma vs LED--the colors, the clarity, the black levels...ah-mazing. Plasma is the way to go imo. Any visitors to my house, I usually throw in a Bluray and listen and watch for the "Oooo"s and "Ahhh"s, lol. The sunlight glare is about the only downside for a Plasma but luckily for me I only get about an hour or two in the afternoon where it's a bit tricky to watch the TV. I went and bought a heavy duty curtain for a couple of windows and that solved the issue. Totally worth it.

Really random but what is the worst dating experience anyone here has had? Did it work out ok in the end?

Ahh yes. I'm moving in the near future and plan to get some curtains just for that issue.

We have a couple LCDs and LEDs in the bedrooms and yeah the quality and colors are definitely noticeable. The only reason I choose plasma over LED is because one like you said, the blacks are better, as well as the fact that it doesn't get all soap opera weird. Do you know what in talking about? Walk into a Costco or best buy and look at a TV that's playing a blu-ray that you've seen before and it somewhat transforms the flow of the image. Like it's not supposed to look like that. I find it to be the strangest thing.

I know you were being sarcastic but Schindler's List actually made me laugh a few times.

Wow... That film *nearly* made me cry

You can't really compare MoS to those movies. Superman has always been viewed as a colorful figure, the spearhead of freedom
and selflessness. MoS was criticized for being too stone faced, everyone was overly dramatic, there was no real sense of levity to the film. The drama was at times
too heavy handed. Poor dialogue, lack of subtle imagery (Superman sinking into a pit of a skulls), and straight up cliches, (Superman dramatically reaching up to the sun), 9/11 imagery to cheaply evoke an emotional response for a character that has had no impact on the movie whatsoever (I'm refering to the girl trapped under the rubble, NO ONE, besides Lois, in the movie being fleshed out or really having any unique aspects to their personality. The single joke in the movie being straight up cringe worthy. The movie gave me the same experience as listening to a Linkin Park piano ballad. It has cool aspects to it, but it's trying too hard to be "deep" and serious.

Then there's the fact that the movies doesn't really do anything different, or even really excels at anything that other comic book movies do better.

Haha, dating......:waa: forever alone.

So anywho, I foundu copy of Spider-Man. Popped that bad boy in. What a classic.

I know it's early and I don't really care for RT but Elysium is already rotten at 56%? :csad:
