maybe they thought it was going to be so cool, that everyone was going to love wolverine for it. but after reading our response, they needed to explain it

the writers and artist know exactly what they are doing, they have drawn so much attention from wolverine fans and non-wolverine fans to the book just rfom this happening and know that everyone is hooked and wants answers they are going to give it to you, in the last book of the arc, a creative teams job is to get people talking about there work, to promote it and sell it.
