Something I don't get: did the glorification of Logan in the comics and pretty much everywhere take place post-X1, or had it started before?

Long before. as i said, his own title has been running for nearly 20 yrs. Its not something thats been done specifically for the movie audience, cos comic buyers are responsible for it.

For anyone interested, I did hear news from Greg Johnson that Rogue will be in this and there's plans to bring in Gambit as well.

His amazing friends were Firestar and Iceman so thats forgivable.

Thats sounds much better already. I hope they change the title too.

I'm not sure what kind of plans they have for Gambit. But he said "there's plans for Gambit"...and at this early stage, it looks like he'll show up. I'm not sure if he's going to be in the main cast or maybe a Brotherhood member. He said Rogue's definately in.

the title reminds me of Spiderman and his Amazing Friends, the classic cartoon with Spidey, Iceman, and Firestar.

I liked that series, and as long as Jubilee appears in the Wolverine one, I'll be happy.

I can understand all the Wolverine hate, especially when he ****ed almost every x-book, but now that they've cut him back why is everyone complaining so much?

I mean, Wolverine is popular, in terms of superhero popularity, after Superman/Spider-man/Batman he's probably the next most popular superhero. No one b*tches when Batman's got multiple titles and appeares in the JLA. No one would care if Spider-man got another cartoon.

Wolverine's popular enough to get his own cartoon show. It's probably going to be like other people have mentioned, a show centering on Wolverine with cameos from the other x-men.

I mean, what's so bad about them making a cartoon about Wolverine? If you don't like the character don't watch it, we don't need another thread of people moaning about Wolverine. That's getting about as annoying as the initial annoyance of Wolverine's overexposure.

Just be glad there is a new series coming out, I aint complaining, I thought X-Men Evolution was ok, But it didn't quite live up to the greatness that was the original series. I hope this new series will be as good, If not, Better then X-Men Evolution. I also hope they get a better voice actor for Wolverine. I didnt like his voice in Evolution, They need to get the voice actor from the original series, His voice was perfect for Wolverine. :)

People have different opinions on that. I thought the the voice actor for Evolution was better than the TAS version. But what about Mark Hamill? I actually liked his voice a lot in the game Wolverine's Revenge. Wouldn't mind to hear it again.

The title is a crime against X-humanity.

Let's belittle the X-Men even more. Hell, call it "Wolverine and His Merry Band of Mutant Followers".

We can be honest about this.

The true title of the movie series should have been:

WOLVERINE

and his little mutie sidekicks

This crappy TV show is just more of the same.

I didn't like the Evolution voices. I remember a lot of the character voices from Evolution were the same as those in Ranma!! Jean Grey's especially as girl-type Ranma! That was hard to picture.

I prefered Wolverine's voice in the 90's animated series. It was perfect.

yeah hugh sounded a lot like him at times and that was great to hear since he's my fav. the jim cummings sounding one from x-evo was ok, but didn't give me that sense of animalistic rage like the old one did. Never heard hamill's but he's a great voice actor, so if someone says he did a great wolverine, i feel inclined to believe them. har har

I don't know about Mark Hamill, Besides being Luke Skywalker, He was the voice of the Joker in the Batman animated series.

I just found something, it's a bit off-topic but I don't want to open a new thread for just one question.

Was there a X-Men series before X-Men TAS in the 90's? Because I found this on youtube.

That was a pilot episode to a series that was never picked up by the networks back in the 80s. Unfortunately, They only made 1 episode.

Too bad. Looked kinda promising.

it was pretty cool. I have the tape of the episode. The only thing I thought odd was Wolverine had an austrailian accent.

And Hammil did do a pretty good Wolverine in the game, I wouldn't mind him being the voice. Having Hammil couldn't hurt, especially if the cartoon measures up to BTAS.

I hate it when someone holds him in regards or camparison to those 3 Scratch that 2 (No offense supes :p) Great heroes. Wolverine can't be put up there, for one all three of those characters are best known as working alone Wolverine may have started out alone but he's known as an X-men frankly i don't care if Wolverine get's his own w/e i just don't want him as part of my X-Men :p but we can't all have what we want.

Edit-P.S. nothing can exceed the annoyance of Wolverine Overexposure :o

Well I don't mean in terms of character quality, I simply mean in terms of popularity. After the big three, Wolverine is probably the next best known character out there.

...and one thing might be able to. Batgod fans.
