Who here wants an amazing r-rated fight with sabretooth or whoever at the end of the movie? When i say r-rated i don`t just mean like lethal weapon or something I mean like The Hunted or Freddy Versus Jason. A fight where no normal human could survive the wounds inflicted. A drag out brawl which leaves the audinece almost as exhausted as wolvie himself. etc etc.

Isn't that kinda what happens, well at least it has some violence, i mean wolvie was sad to kill jean, he just, dug his in a little deeper to make sure she died, i thought it was fun to watch

*Raises hand*

I do......If Wolverine turns out to be an R/15 (depending on where you live) it'll be able to be alot more voilent than the previous X films.

Wolverine, by his nature almost demands an R rating. I would much rather though, see a more organized fighting style. Logan has been well trained in the martial arts and use of the sword in the comics. I don't know if they will devaite from that here or not.

I really want him to have a military fighting style. Swift and effective. I don't want to see any matrix elements or have him roundhouse kick everyone out cold. Just because he knows martial arts this doesn't have to turn into some sort of Kung Fu Movie.

That the sort of cool style they had in The Hunted. Just with knives instead of claws.

well for one thing in the 80's is when Wolverine fought with some skill, it was the 90's and now that he was just sluggin away.

But if they have a Wolverine fight, I want him to display some skill, I'd have the style be simmilar to bourne identity, just not quite that choppy. Like the fight scenes in V for Vendetta, not the slow motion parts but all the fast fighting was coreographed great. That movie really nailed fight scenes I thought. So I would like Wolverine to have fight scenes simmilar to that, quick and brutal. No weird kung fu wire fights like in x1 and x2.

i would go pretty close to what he had with x-3, just a little grittier. maybe a really good one on one fight.

i loved the fight scene in "the hunted"

For the majority of the movie's action scenes, stick with the same style he had in The Last Stand --- that was a perfect translation of Wolverine's fighting style in the comics. Throw in one scene of total berzerker rage right after he has the adamantium bonded to him, so they can recreate that classic image of a post-operation Wolverine standing, claws bared, on a mound of bodies.

For a Wolverine vs. Sabertooth finale at the end, however.... I love the idea someone posted earlier of doing it in a Freddy Vs. Jason style hack 'n slash-fest, with both opponents absolutely ripping into eachother in a way that no normal human being could ever withstand.

i totally agree!! a one on one fight like that with both wolverine and sabretooth... would be the greatest fight ever!! it should be pretty long to unlike x-1.

I went with the 'hack and slash brawl' myself - nothing fancy, just unleash Wolverine and let him go beserk

I voted for 80's style slugfest because thats really the only way I can see him fighting. I really cannot see him gliding around in fact I think it whould be pathetic.

I thought x2 with lady deathstrike was exactly this, and that was pg-13. Id like to see Wolverine and whoever have that same level of intensity.

IMO anyone who thinks Singer is weak on action wasnt watching the same flicks

As long as he does the whole "I'm going to pin this random soldiier against the fridge in X2" thing over, and over, only with blood and the guy screaming, I'm going to be happy.

 I cant wait to see wolvie just go off on people and "slice and dice" them to little peices.....yes 700 posts!

I see no reason why one style need be adhered to. Different elements can be incorporated into the same fight scene. I'd much rather see a mixture than straight brawling (which I would hate) or straight wire work.

I agree. Though I am rather partial to that berserker scene in X2 where Wolverine just kinda kills everyone...

The guy who directed "The Hills have Eyes" to me- at least- seems like he might be a great director for the project. I mean, to me- Wolverine deserves a hard R ratings. "The Hills have Eyes" has LOTS of gore, but throughout the whole thing- since it's the hero whooping ass and taking no names, it was a really unexpectedly fun experience. I see Wolverine as being a same type of film, more of a story- but, brutal and gory- but still fun, which is somewhat hard to pull off.

The hills had eyes was (no offence) a disgrace to the name of film making.

Ah, ya never get a good slug-fest anymore...

...two indistructable beings, battering the b'jesus out of each other. Thoses were the days.

Lactose the Intollerent

Wasn't the best film. But, the fact that they were able to have a lot of gore and that kind of action and still have it be a fun movie and root when that level of gore does happen- difficult to pull off.

But, really liked the 70s B movie type vibe of it.

In other words, want Wolverine's fights to be BRUTAL but still have that sense of fun factor in it at the same time.

I think it depends on how they go about doing the movie. If its Weapon X or if the even mention Japan at all.
