Wolverine X-MEN vanson motorcycle jacket

Question - anyone know what kind of watch Logan is wearing?

It looks to be a type of leather Fossil but I would think Logan would wear something with some more wear and tear to it....

 

I'm pretty sure it was a Red Monkey "Le Mans" with the "X" strap.

Ahh, yeah I thought the Le Mans looked a little funny. I didn't see that there was another page of watches to view, so I figured that was it. Good call Spamtron.

I was on the website the other day and it seems to be a bit more then I remember it being....

 

Whoa... I'd really like a jacket like that. I have to figure out the sizing chart, since I'm Dutch, a woman, and have boobs to fit in...

I didn't know until just now anyone but Wested made & sold Wolverine motorcycle jackets. I cannot say which are the best made, but only know that the Wested Indy Jones jackets seem to be the favored ones in that department.
If I may stray off topic a bit, I collect belt buckles, and was wondering where I might get a buckle like the one Logan/Wolverine wears in the movies.
Also, where may I find out about his motorcycle? I'd been thinking it might be one of the new Triumphs, but am not sure. All the links I encounter seem dedicated to X-Men toys.

 

So, the I'm thinking on being Wolverine for Halloween. I've already started working out pretty well with my co workers. But need to start on the costume.

Here's the list of what I need so far.

Vanson X1 from loganscloset. Magnoli clothiers make a replica but it's MORE expensive and I'm betting loganscloset is more accurate, considering.

magnoli clothiers have the belt buckle with the painting that looks pretty accurate. Although I have no idea what kind of Belt he had, I suppose any brown leather will do.

A red monkey "le mans" with x strap watch.

I heard (but could be wrong) that his jeans were some custom Levi 527's, low riders with boot cut.

I know nothing of his boots, and have trouble finding pics of his footwear, actually.

his shirt could easiy be a run of the mill plaid...and wife beater underneath.

Any suggestions??

The belt buckle is pretty generic, but you can usually only get it unpainted. It was made by Bergamont (sp?) Brassworks...but there are tons of copys out there.

Magnoli Clothiers sells one that is painted to match the movies....www.magnoliclothiers.com in the accessories section, I think.

 

I was looking at the "loganscloset" website...and saw that the "distressed" jackets were much less expensive but there were no available sizes...

Do they only come in one set size?

Thinking of ordering one but not sure about the back.

Also does the new jacket from origions have the orange in the gaps between the zips on the arms. Checked in the game and also in the the scenes online but they apear to be zipped up so cant realy tell. Does anyone who has seen the movie know?

 

The jacket looks great! But goddamnit! $650 for a distressed leather jacket!

 

I am not to impressed with the wested jacket. The new XO version has a fitted look to it. I think Westsed took the base pattern of th X1 jacket and adapted the brown lines to it. If I am going to spend my hard earned bucks I want a good replica, not a quick knock off. Hopefully Logans closet will do better.
