Woman Dies Aafter Freak Accident with Sting Ray

Holy crap...the sting ray jumped into the boat, she fell backwards, hit her head and died.

How can you say this has been happening a lot? I've never heard of a story like this. The article only mentions two deaths due to Sting Rays and one of them was cause the person (Steve Irwin) lifting the ray out of the water, which is a pretty good way to get stung.

It is tragic the woman died, but this is an isolated incident, not a common one.

True, all I'm saying is that these are normally very shy creatures. They even said in the article that a stingray has never killed a person this way before. I'm broadly lumping stingray related deaths together.

Ah, yes!
The good ol' Death by eagle ray jumping out of the water accidentally hitting you and making you hit your head on the boat deck.

It's like an epidemic these days.
How many more innocent people need to die before we put a stop to this?
