Going by the thread title I was expecting much worse when I saw the cat. I wouldn't call that psychopathic behavior in an of itself....It's mean spirited as all hell but not psychopathic.

Yeah that's what I was expecting, either that or her hurling the cat intro traffic....She essentially just put the cat into a box that the cat very well might have gone into on it's own if the lid was open.

It's mean spirited but it's nothing to get really worked up over.

Any small animal that's owned by a family with very young kids has likely gone through WAY worse.

Like I said i've seen small children do way worse to family pets.

We don't really know why she did it. I mean, we're just assuming it was a random thing. Maybe that damn cat kept her up all night like cats sometimes do with their kitty orgies. Or maybe she knows the cat's owner, and hates her. Or maybe the cat mumbled something anti-Semitic. We don't know. Either way, it was an extreme reaction. A reaction on par with what future serial killers would do? No.

I remember this dude who lived on my block named Smokey, took all these kittens and tossed em off the top of his building to see if they would land on their feet. Now that guy was a sociopath. (Which would explain why he grew up to become and killer and is currently serving 25 to life.) Tossing a cat into a trash can? Eh.

The animal is fine according to the video description. I think I read that the police can't do anything because an actual crime was not committed, which is true.

I thought it was funny as hell, and obviously if someone was filming it, someone got the cat out of there. Plus those garbage can lids don't close all that well anyway. The cat got out eventually and went on with his or her life.
