It would be best if the power of flight for Diana be left for her third solo movie.

Yeah, if Superman, Shazam, Thor, GL can have all sort of ultra powers, so can Diana. Funny that she is always the one that should be kept in check and not be too "overpowered".

I literally want to see her fly.

She already has godlike powers and she can cut loose and go all goddess mode when she's angry beyond belief.

I say bring on the super speed for WW and make Cheetah even faster, because, well, that's the point of a character named after the fastest animal on land.

I would have 'super speed' be a definitive advantage for Cheetah. That's her trump card.

Cheetah will probably have better close space reflexes and agility too. In a combat I want to make it seem like Diana can't catch her and she is at the end of her ropes and she has to come up with a unique offense/moveset to beat Cheetah. That'll be much more dramatic and will set up a better payoff IMO.

I saw some posters on Reddit saying that shooting for WW84 will take only 2 or 3 months, I think they are wrong.. as Gal's trainer had posted that he will be trainer for Gal for 5 months till the end of shooting, so it's going to be long shoot.

I don't understand anyone that wants Wonder Woman to be nerfed. She should be in her full glory at all times. The "overpowered" nonsense is for those with no imagination. WW in the current comics has all kinds of powers, the challenge is often psychological.

She will always face physical threats just like Superman but them having supreme powers doesn't stop those threats, them getting beat by stronger forces, or threats that are more than strength and speed. Just let them be great.

I wholeheartedly agree with WW being at the end of her rope and struggeling like she never had too. The fight between her and the Pricilla Rich version of Cheetah in Justice (2005) was pretty brutal(maybe too much) :

Look, that fight against Cheetah will be her best opportunity to have her speed on full display, let's go big, no holding back.

Considering WW1 was around 6 months of filming, it's very unlikely WW1984 would be shorter.

They are probably only taking into account the locations schedule, not counting shooting in studio etc.

No chance of that happening. Shazam took 4 months to film and that was all in one location. WW 84 is going to be filming in many locations (US, UK, Spain).

I wonder if the Spain location is "modern day" Themyscira. They are also filming in off of the coast of Africa. I also wonder how much of Rebirth Wonder Woman will influence the story.

WB to Patty: Why do we need to spend this much money and shoot on location when we can just green screen this **** like we did in JL?

It's obviously Amazons, but I'm wondering if it'll be set in the present of the film (1984) or if it might be some kind of flashback.

I just hope that they don't have a budget exceeding 200 mil. It should be around 180 mil.

I hope that Patty Jenkins feels free to ignore Justice League and show the Amazons as having continued to make scientific, military and other advancements over the past 70 odd years, especially having been exposed to WW1 weapons, battle ships and planes.

Yes! The Amazons from the comics have technological advancements. They create and innovate. They may not be quite like Wakanda but they wouldn't still be in the dark ages in 2017(couch JL cough).

Show how these women are smart and creative.

Well that depends on the comic, sometimes they have advanced technology and sometimes they don't.

If you were going to go down the route that they were developing their own technology, really should have been shown in the first film.
Would need an explanation for why they had done nothing for thousands of years, then made leaps and bounds in seventy.

I would prefer that Amazons have some technology (like metallurgical advances) but not very advanced technology, it takes away from grounded look established in the first movie.


Plus, Themyscira is not Wakanda, as Amazons typically don't go out to man's world regularly to get acquainted with what's the latest tech trend going on and it makes zero sense that they will develop everything by themselves with little resources.
