What makes a well cast Diana to you and what about models turned actresses appeals to that specifically?

I'll be happy to answer this...
1. She need to be naturally tall (No camera tricks. No platforms etc.), and when i write "tall" - I don't mean for a woman. i mean even amongs the common men. 5'9 is good .around 5'10 or taller is even better(Courtney Eaton is a good example. So is Charlee Fraser).
2. She should be able to grow up with the character, which means in my eyes - the actress shouldn't be older then the rest of the JL members' actors. So No 30 something year old actresses. Corenswet is 31, Alcock is 25, Merced is 23, Pierre is 31(John stewart - GL). The actress who will be the new Wonder Woman shouldn't be older then them - when she will be cast.
3. She should definitely be a better actress then Gal Gadot(She had a great look for WW, but there were times her acting was too painful to watch), But i also don't need an Oscar's caliber actress.

Why is height more important then general physicality? I'm a fan of Country Eaton, but she doesn't exactly have a warrior's presence. Charlee Fraser was very good in Fury Road, but she's not exactly super built.

No. What I'm asking is why you think a model turned actress is better then a theoretical straight up actress and the only answer you seem to have is height. Which is not a requirement for good acting.

You are fixated on young in a way I do not think correlates with my own. Someone in their mid 30s is very much "young" to me.

To be fair, this person is an idiot for referencing the only comic in existence where WW is depicted as the tallest Trinity member. (She's generally shown to be at least 1 or 2 inches shorter than Supes in most other comics.) Hence, the wonky notion that the actress playing WW must be taller than David—that is, 6'5" and up—is the simplest thing in the world for Gunn to dismiss. He loves answering these super specific types of questions, as they don't really say much at all. If he does end up casting, say, a 5'11" actress and someone calls him on it, he'll just say something like, "All I said was that she won't be taller than David."

James Gunn Responds To DC Universe Wonder Woman Casting Rumor

This was over a year ago, so things could have changed but “When asked by Matthew Simmons if Elizabeth Debicki is being eyed to play Wonder Woman, Gunn simply stated, ‘This is coming from a site that’s just making up a bunch of stuff (I love working with Elizabeth but I’ve never even had this thought).”

Now, Gunn could certainly walk that back and I wouldn’t be mad at all. She’s a great actress
