And of course its a ridiculous task...but thats what the thread asks for...so might as well be two of the most well known, well regarded and influential films of those 100 years, right.

And Raging Bull is up there as cited before with AFI's List with Raging Bull being number 4, though CK and Casablanca are 1 and 2, I'm perfectly fine with those films, it simply that they represent only one time period.
