If you came in here looking for news on a film, well I'm sorry to disappoint you.
But I want to pose you a question after you see the trailer for the newest game.

Ok...
Now that you've seen it, would you want to see a World of Warcraft with the same visual style and CG?

LOL.

It might be worth the $8.75 to hear some Dwarf say "You are about to pwned.".

HAHA!!!
I'd pay $8.75 just to see Murlocks

I think they should just make a full movie out of the cinematics that they use in the game... I'm talking the CGI intro cutscenes when you first play the game.

CGI would be better but live-action would be cooler. And cut scenes like that is why I've always felt LOTR was a poor mans Warcraft.

LOL!!!
Just from that trailer, I feel the same.

I really couldn't imagine a Warcraft movie without the same visual style. I think CGI would be the best way to bring it to life.

they can make it, if it's bad i wouldn't have to watch it, easy peasey

Remember the Dungeons & Dragons movie from a few years ago?

Bad Bad Bad idea.

At best it'd be straight to video.

Which one? I'm not talking about live action, I'm talking about full CGI, like the Incredibles or Shrek.
And Taiwarrior, how is spliting murlocks in two childish?

the game is childish. Just saying that it keeps people from being productive with their lives and do the things that will advance one's live.

Narrator: This summer...

*a grassy plane is seen infront of snowy peaked mountains*

Narrator: A legend is brought to life.

voice: What are our odds?

other voice: 33.3 repeating of course percentage of survival

voice: Christ...

Narrator: An adventure so grand and bold...

* a temple full of great bats comes fades into view*

Narrator: It will blow your mind...

*everything fades to darkness*

New voice: ALL RIGHT CHUMS IM BACK LETS DO THIS LEEEEROOOOYYYY JEEEENNNKKKIINNSSS

Voice: leeroy you are just stupid as hell..

*the world of Warcraft flashes on the screen*

summer 2010.

Leeroy would have to be in the film of course.

That only happens if you become addicted, which is really sad if you do.
So you don't wanna see a film because of that reason...Buddy, you're on the wrong board then.

I'd rather go see a live action EverQuest film done right by SONY.

EverQuest is where it all originally began - everything afterwards is just aftermarket spawns.

Only if they get Peter Jackson to do it.
Yeah, cause ONLY Peter Jackson can direct fantasy films, huh?:whatever:

I wish the Wow franchise would get testicular cancer and die.

Screw Warcraft, I want to see Starcraft!

Well, at this point, I'd rather see ANYTHING Starcraft.

I liked the south park with Warcraft, twas very humourous!

Starcraft would also make a great film. I wish blizzard would focus on making Starcraft II after the WOW expansion.
