What did Pluto Nash make? My guess is half of that.

$40 million domestic
$110 million overseas

$150 million. Here is a quote from the one of the best boxoffice derby sites

The HSX stock dropped from 50 million to 37 million because of how terrible the trailer whoops I mean "teaser" was. Its been holding steadly around 45-60 million the past 4 months or so. GI Joe and Watchmen are both priced over 160 million each. The more stuff thats released about the film, the higher it normally goes but for a movie thats about to be released in a 6 month span, its currently very low.

Bombs away. There goes saiyan saga.

Yeah less than Speed Racer......itll go up after the real trailer

Somewhere between 200-300 mil.

Somewhere between 200-300 mil.

But fox won't do a sequel then. Budget of 100 million means that it has to do $130+ million domestically and $170+ million overseas. It has to crack $300 million worldwide for a sequel else no chances.

But if hsx is any indication (which i hope not) this will be next speed racer.

How much up? It won't go upto 150 million in 4 months. Best case scenario - 100 million

It dropped because they thought it was the real trailer as soon they find out its not itll go up. A real trailer and all the promotion will put it up.

No it doesn't, $220 mil would make them break even. It should top that.

DVD sales and rentals will bring in alot of profit. The merchandising will bring in money.

And a sequel will most likely make more than this.

Well in that case fox should have announced F43 but that didn't happen even after making $280 million worldwide and doing well on dvd sales & rentals.

Except that movies production budget was $130 million, then theres a marketing budget.

So it didnt make a profit at theatres. It needed the DVD sales.

What an ignorant comment.

Ill be laughing my ass off at you guys when this movie makes over 400 mill worldwide.

I am talking about DOMESTIC boxoffice which means USA+CANADA.

This could very well end up doing 200+ million overseas but I am not sure about that yet. It is hard to predict overseas numbers since marketing there starts later for most movies.

It probably will the US $ is worth next to nothing now so its overseas thats important

Good scores in France and Spain I think, because european are old db fans.
200-300 millions

You know it is kinda hilarious that Mamma Mia has made more than 400+ million overseas market and is going to be one of Universal's top 5 highest grossing flicks overseas. If DB can do something like that overseas then even if it barely cracks 100 million domestically, fox will still greenlit a sequel and release it in summer time.

Its not like its gonna bomb, Max Payne will make over $45 mil, and it doesn't have a fanbase like Dragonball.

Dragonballs fanbase tops Fantastic Four they did well.

oops, i voted ($50-100 million) thinking only domestic.

worldwide will be around $100-150 million.

dragon ball making close to mamma mia overseas is ridiculous.

let's hope this movie flops so they can reboot it in a half-decade the right way.
