And it didn't work. Look at the results. The movie failed.Hal didn't even know how to use the ring, it just happened unintentionally. Not to mention, Hal is supposed to be somewhat immature in his origin, he's not really a noble when starting out, those qualities are developed later on in his tenure as Green Lantern.
I'm simply saying. Re-edit that moment so Hal uses the ring on those guys in self-defense because honestly I sort of understood those guys' anger. Hal got them fired for being an immature and cocky *****ebag. They roughed him up, didn't seriously hurt Hal, and then Hal reacted when they left him and nearly killed them. I sort of didn't like Hal in that moment. And honestly I don't think the audience did either. I think the results prove my point.
Listen, it looks like a lot of you are quick to Reynolds defense. Why? He didn't do a good job. He was miscast. The movie is a failure.
