worst DC film

Batman Begins - It was ok but it didn't feel like a Batman movie, it felt like it should've been a new hero movie.

Have you read many Batman comics before watching it?

Begins is the best live action adapation of the modern day Batman I've ever seen.

I disagree.

Steel could have been a good movie back then, even with a small budget. It did need more money, though. That was just one of its problems.

What hurt it, like with all bad adaptions, is the script, cast and crew. They treated it like a joke when it could have been used to go into the military industrial complex like Iron Man's doing.

They don't even have to go far for this. During his stint as "Superman" Irons had a great storyline with a ex-lover/co-worker who he worked to create super weapons for the government only she took his designs once he left then sold it on the black market. The idea practically writes itself.

But then that would require someone to read the comics or talk to the DC staff. Can't have that!

Steel IMO,not only sucks because the of the script,it also sucks because the Steel suit was lame. Didn't he also ride a motorcycle while wearing the Steel suit,O'Neil as Steel that is??

That sounds about right.

All the potential wasted for nothing. I doubt we'll ever get a good movie from Steel now and WB probabaly would think he's unusable thanks to his simularities to Iron Man (which wouldn't even be a problem if they had given a good film to begin with back then), when no-one should be able to confuse the two heroes IMO.

What makes it worse is that Steel is one of DC's high profile minority heroes.

Catwoman: I mean, where was the villain? A cosmetic lady is the best you can do?! I've never read any Catwoman comics, and the movie really doesn't give me the urge to go out and look for any.

Don't worry, that Catwoman has no comic series. Selina Kyle, the original one from Batman Returns, is in the comics a lot.

someone really said batman begins? for real? i cant even BEGIN(no pun intended) to wrap my mind around that...WB/DC has pumped out soem serious garbage over the years..and yet Batman "best comic movie ever" begins is the worst? theres really only a few explanations for that.....

1. metel spidey has only seen about 5 movies over the course of his life

2. hehas terrets and they above statement was made simply because hecant help it

or (and most likely)

3. metel spidey is a marvel biased troll who is looking to get a rise out of all the batfans on the board.....in which case i just gave him exactly what he wanted

Heck,he was facing street thugs and O'Neil played him. He didn't have a cape or big S on his chest.

"The Other Superman Movies"?... What do you mean... all of them?

Well,if they weren't made so many years I ago,I would have enjoyed them a bit more,most of the Superman movie villians were just pretty boring. I think Superman 2 would have been better without Lex in it. Lois beating up the female Zod henchwoman was lame IMO.

The very moment during the fight on ice, when batman and Robin clicked their heels together and ice skating blades came out of their boots, I knew it was going to suck. The fact they started jumping in the air, doing ballet-like pirouettes didn't help.

ok i can accept that, but may i ask what you DO think the best comic movie is?

also...you really think superman returns was worse than batman and robin, superman 3, and supergirl? like you said its all opinion, but i was somewhat taken aback by that. based on the little tidbits weve been given, do you think that "man of steel" will be better??
