The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Worst lines in the movie

Fixed.

Just because he can't lose her they can't be together?

Huh. I was watching the scene when I wrote the quote.

Anyway, I still don't understand she meant with the latter part.

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure the line is -

"So because you can't lose me, we can't be together? Who does that work out for?"

Implying the contradiction of "I can't lose you, so I can't have you" and how no one wins in that scenario.

I was watching the scene when I wrote the quote, so I'm preeeeetty sure I wrote it correctly.

But again, I still don't understand the "who does that work out for?" part.

A "be with me or don't" ultimatum.

He's afraid of losing Gwen in the future, but she means he's already lost her via his apprehensions and by distancing himself.

Yeah I think she just means what is the difference if he cant be around her isn't it already like he lost her?

First line of dialog from Paul Giamatti
"BLAH, BLAH BLAH, ALEXI SETSVIC" *loudlaugh*

What was he saying? Beside his name there was nothing resembling words of any human language I'm familiar with, and it definitely did NOT sound Russian

Okay,I rewatched the scene like forthy times and I understood "--- working out for,Peter?" I'm not entirely sure.

I thought she just meant that him freaking out over losing her or her being hurt is just hurting her, and it's illogical, and there's absolutely no winners from his actions, they're both going to end up hurt.

"I break up with you" sounds bad when you don't put emphasis on how it was said and the context in which it was said, wasn't robotic at all, she says it twice, quick first, and then slower, more venomous for emphasis. Perfectly natural. If that line was bad, Emma Stone delivered it well enough to make it sound authentic.

Same thing happened a lot, "Welcome to the bonus round" could have been the cheesiest line of the film but DeHaan's delivery made it one of my favourites.

:up::up:

The lovey dovey scenes of Peter and Gwen for me just felt so sappy and cringeworthy that I think for me since I've never felt so head over heels over a girl so I couldn't relate to it.

I thought he was saying 5-5-6-6-7 the first time I saw it! :funny:

He was that hard to understand.

He said that? The part before his name is hard to get, probably the only reason I heard his name is being the Spider-Man geek that I am
He was talking loudly to his lonesome self, almost in third person.

*Head down*
I do it sometimes, nobody told me what a horrible line of dialog I deliver

When watching the Peter and Gwen scenes (especially the one before the Electro fight in Times Square), I couldn't get the Seinfeld "Schmoopy" episode out of my head.

"Laugh uglier!"

"BWAHAHAHAHA!"

"Nope, it's still cute!"

"You're schmoopy"

"No, you're schmoopy!"

"Teeheeheeheehee!"

My best friend and his gf were one of those couples you just wanna slap in the face. Seriously it was irritating to say the least.:whatever:

It's annoying indeed! Before I moved, everytime I Went by the morning train there was this couple that was so extreme, you'd think they would throw off their clothes and have sex right in front of you.

I know what it is like to fall in love and all that, unfortunately, so I understand that feeling, but it's still seriously annoying when they want to shove it in everyone's face. Show at least some respectful manner, please.

"And my parents"

That line just pisses me the **** off.

I think he does acknowledge Ben first though.

Think it was more like

May: Blah Blah Uncle Ben
Peter: Yeah, and my folks too (as in, love them both)
May: Yeah

I didn't expect him to be like, ******* my parents, I love Uncle Ben. As long as he acknowledged him first, all good.

He doesn't even seem to care about his parents though, just his dad.
