Worst Pizza

Like I said, the Sbarro I would go to wasn't bad. It was the only time I had that "New York style" pizza slice that you fold would you eat. And some of the worst pizza I've tasted were the ones they sell in the deli section at Wal-Mart and other grocery stores, yet one I remember liking was from Whole Foods.

BTW, has anyone ever tried making their own pizza at home?

I would get Sbarro often when I went to the mall. Sure it was greasy, but it wasn't the worst Pizza I've ever tried. Dominoes was. It was like cardboard drenched with sauce, with a little bit of greasy cheese and pepperoni.

I have when I was in college. It's a pizza buffet, so just expect a lot of dried up pizza that have been sitting under heat lamps for a long time. If you do eat there, I would suggest only grabbing the pizzas that have just been put out.

Overall, not the best pizza in the world, but if you're a broke college kid who is starving, why not.

I'd actually compare it to like Little Ceasar's having a pizza buffet. It's not the greatest pizza in the world, but when you're starving & on a budget, I suppose so.

Sbarro is far from the worst pizza y'all have ever tasted. And plus, I'm not from NY or even the east coast, so shove it!

I have enjoyed Sbarro at times. I have found the one at the Washington, DC crystal city shops to be pretty good. Dallas airport has extra greasy pizza. Sometimes the pie sits under a lamp and looks kind of gross, usually in mall food courts. I'll pass that up and get a sub.

So Sbarro in Washington DC > Dallas airport > mall food court > Charlotte airport

I do all the time. I make a whole wheat base crust and use pesto as my sauce. Tastes really good

I used to, but with all of the ingredients you have to buy, and the time you take to prep, bake, and clean up, it's just not worth it for me.

Plus, I don't have a proper oven to make it worthwhile. (and I imagine most people don't, either)

That's what I was thinking of! Oh my God its the worst ever. CiCi's...the last time I went there....about 10 years ago...was cardboard soaked in sauce....the worst

I will admit Dominoes used to be pretty terrible, but in the last few years they've gotten better, to the point where they advertised in their commercials how much better their pizza's gotten.

If I was starving to death I would turn to cannibalism before I eat a Domino's pizza.

I have not eaten Dominos in a few years so perhaps they have improved their pizza but I am not in a rush to try it.

How about Mellow Mushroom? That's a gourmet pizza chain primarily in the south eastern portion of the US. A bit expensive but well worth it
