*Worst thing about being in High School*

I know most of the members on this forum board is in high school. I'm in high school right now and I'm a junior. It's tough being in high school right now because everyone wants to act cool just to fit in. Teenagers are acting to much like adults in a boyfriend/girlfriend situation sort of way. Seniors are making fun of Freshmen because they are new to the school; did Seniors had have the same experience when they were freshmen? They have instigators around school who changes friends into enemies. They have friends who break their friendships because of something stupid. They're racism surrounding the school property that can escalate into a big miscommunication because of one racist black/white/hispanic student starts. Were racist raised by racist or born racist? What's the worse thing about being in high school? The worse thing about being in high school in my opinion is being immature. Immaturity is judging people before you know them or re phrase it like this "don't judge a book by it's cover". Immaturity is not being honest with your friends or relatives. What is the worst thing about being high school. What's on your mind when your thinking about what the student did to the other student while your in the middle of it. Or when a student makes fun of another student. If i had a wish, i would wish that everyone can just can along with each other and don't worrying about little things like aggravates you.

Yeah, when I was a freshman, I remember being degraded but as a Senior it's a rite of passage.

I think the worst thing about high school was the repitition, especially with my senior year. I finished nearly all the classes I needed to have done for college during my junior year, and so I decided that it would be fun to take all art courses for my senior year. It was insanely boring. I sat in one room for almost the entire day.

Someone sounds like they're taking high school waay too seriously. Your job in high school is to get good grades...do your damn job. Then goto college where you can have some real fun.

To sum it up, high school is not the real world. Don't act like the drama around you is going to affect the rest of your life.

I never spent much time in HS. When I did go though I never had a problem. I was never ****ed with by Seniors, or what not. Really never had any problems with anyone.
I actually liked it. Got to see friends I normally wouldn't see outside of school, got my first girlfriend there, drank my first beer under the bleachers, etc.

I kind of wish I had stayed in, but...oh well. I have no real regrets.

High School was crap my freshman and sophmore year but was great my junior and senior year - i.e., drivers license & car.

The worst period of my life related to education was probably my last three semesters of college - that's when I totally cut myself off socially and busted my ass just to finish.

I took 21 units during one those semesters (3 units came from an online class that only took up about 2 hours a week) just to ensure I was caught up and on the pace that I would have been on had the rest of my college experience been not so much fun.
