Thank you for all the great work you are doing on our behalf in Afghanistan, Iraq and all the other hell holes. Often for the rights of people and nations other than your own.

No...most are forced into it. Because they have no choice,a number of them have been deployed more than once..because no one else wants to do it. It's not Democracy..it's Socialism.

Last I heard, it was an all volunteer force. At least in the US.
