BvS Would Richard Grayson be part of this movie?

Would like to see Richard Grayson have a scene in this movie. An emotional scene with Bruce. But I don't want him in costume for this movie.

This is the type of actor I'd like to see as Nigthwing, some of the others being suggested are too boyish IMO.

Yeah, like I said, I never liked the idea of putting young boys in superhero roles. It's already unrealistic enough for a grown man to become a superhero, they'd last about a week tops before getting killed, putting a teenager out on the streets fighting crime is not only even more unrealistic but it just comes off as extremely corny to me. I've never liked the idea, even when I was a kid.

Also, Nightwing the character isn't a kid anyway, he's the older version of Robin. He's drawn as someone at least in his early to mid 20's, if not older. He becomes Nightwing after years of being Robin. Yes, the character is supposed to be younger than Batman but he's still a grown man.

That's why I would hate to see someone like Eraza Miller get the role, at least at this point, maybe in a few years he would be great but right now he's way too young looking and let's face it, he's not believable as a crime fighter. If he were to get into a one on one fist fight with Gal Gadot, the actress, not her as Wonder Woman, she would probably beat him to a pulp. That's not someone that should be playing a character like Nightwing.

But, that's just my opinion, I know there are many others that want to see the young boys cast for the Bat Family storyline. Personally I never liked that storyline, I'm ok with Robin or Nightwing being at least 20 something and I'm ok with Batgirl in the same age range but anyone younger than that I'm not interested in seeing in a movie. It was OK in Kick Ass, because that movie is not really all that serious, it's basically a satire but not for these characters, not for this run of movies.

Somerhalder, Logan Marshall-Green, Alex Pettyfer, Garrett Hedlund, Taylor Kinney, Matt Bomer, Cam Gigandet, Hayden Christensen, Wes Bentley, Matt Cohen, Jason Ransone, Milo Ventimiglia, Drew Roy, David Giuntoli, Steven Strait. Meh, some of those aren't even that good of actors really, just kind of throwing around names at this point. I tried thinking of younger actors but there just aren't many good young actors, most of them suck.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is probably not likely anymore, he would have been great. Aaron Taylor-Johnson would have been ok, though I don't really like him all that much, but he's with Marvel so unlikely. I guess I wouldn't have a huge problem with Zac Efron but I'd rather it not be him. I don't like Adam Driver but I'd take him over Hutcherson, Radcliffe or Lerman. Hutcherson is flat out of awful, Radcliffe isn't much better to me and Lerman is too young.

A good young actor?
Then again! I nominate Jack O'Connel

He's seriously one the best and upcoming actors going. He might have a shot considering he was in 300 which Snyder produced. He's been brilliant in everything I've seen him in. He may not have the ideal look, but WB apparently want a young John Hawked type actor, and he could fit into that category!

I agree, but he might be too busy with TVD to commit to the character in the long term.

I dunno...I've never seen him in anything, but I've never been able to get on board with the idea of him as Nightwing.

I would die if he were cast. He's a fantastic actor, and was perfect in the animated movie. That said: he and Somerhalder have the same problem.

I have no idea who he is. He looks the part, though.

Talia isn't Caucasian, so her son shouldn't look 100% Caucasian.

It's not about how old an actor is, it's about how old an actor looks. He could pass for being the same age or even a tad younger than Cavill IMO. In most continuities, Superman only ages up to the point of physical maturity and then it's extensively slow there on out as well, he's pretty much supposed to look younger than most of the other characters. Personally I don't care if he looks older than Superman, I mostly care about getting an actor that is good and mostly looks the part.

But yeah, the point earlier about him being able to commit to the role while being the star of a hit TV show is the bigger problem.

I think he could pass for 27-28, he looks alot younger than he is IMO. Well, for this movie I doubt it would be a big role, extended cameo at best. My guess is they won't use Nightwing full on until the Batman solo movie, if they use him at all, it's just a rumor at this point.
