He's Firestorm so no! i don't see McNairy or Mulvey playing Grayson. I'm not saying Grayson isn't in the film, just that I don't see either of those guys playing him

If it aint Mulvey then I doubt Nightwing is in the movie. There 75% done with the production.
I wanted him to play Superboy in that rumored 2015 Young Justice CW spinoffWho the **** cares if he's Firestorm???? He looks the part damn it!![]()

What if Tao is playing a genderbended Nightwing?![]()
At this point, I'm positive that Dick Grayson (nor any other Robin) will NOT appear in this film.
Will we get references, and possibly even see a display case of the Bat family suits? Most likely.
Why not use Jason Todd? Why skip him?I'd love for Dick to get referenced by Alfred and Bruce ignoring it, and a Jason Todd memorial in the cave, but save actual appearances, and stuff like flashbacks and explanations and the like for a solo film, would love to see the solo bat film address the legacy aspect of Robin and have him take on Tim as the new Robin by the end.

I don't care for the idea of Batman getting his first Robin when he's in his forties.
I agree as well. Bruce needs to be in his early years so that the smaller age difference doesnt underline the ridiculousness of a child crimefighter. He's 25, Robin is 15, so it's not too bad, you know?I think it'd make his child endangerment issue worse.
I see your point in bold. But there's more to it. We have the chance to see Jason Todd in action for the first time, and some people here want to run past him and get Tim Drake instead. There' something missing then.Using Jason's death as a plot device really seems like the way to go.
His death could be a large part of Bruce's weariness in the story, and having him overcome that pain would be really compelling to watch.
