ive been thinking with thr right director and a better story this can actually be a good film.
wouldyou guys like it if Appleseed was turned into a live action film?

No I don't think so.
I'm looking more forward to the episodic series that will be more like Shirow's manga.
The 80's OVA was weak. The new movie was pretty good, but still could use some work polishing.
Basically I want to see a story with Briareos and Deunan as the great couple they are in the manga, since that's really my favorite element of Appleseed.
I think the cyber-punk stuff like Appleseed is better suited for staying in the anime/manga format. I don't think it would work as well in live action. Especially if Hollywood got their hands on it.
