This is old news but, it is still relevant. It's another one of the many examples of how ruthless Fox can be with lying to fans about the content and quality of their films. The irony about this Fox did nothing to shoot down these rumours yet the moment a film review that Fox called fake appears on Ain'titcoolnews they file a lawsuit to have it removed. If the X3 film review was fake why was Fox so adament about having it removed? Other movie companies didn't file lawsuits against Ain'titcoolnews for posting numerous fake reviews of films.

It turns out that the first X3 review that Fox called fake revealed the true fates of Xavier, Magneto, Cyclops, Rogue, and Jean Grey. So it's obvious that Tom Rothman was lying as usual. He also told a few lies about fantastic four 2 a few months before it was released.

We already checked it out. In September 2005, oddly enough.

Which was two years ago. It's good to know people have their finger on the pulse when it comes to current news and information.

New Major X-Men 3 Spoiler Rumors
A fan site claims to have some big news that signals a big scene in X3.

Warning: Spoilers

New scenes from X-Men 3 offer some major plot spoilers, as reported by X-MenFilms.net. Highlight over the text below to read on:

Regarding possible Sentinels: "There will be a scene with Wolverine and Storm. The best description we can offer is: Storm pulls Logan from a car before a foot crunches down on it, making it not look like a car anymore! You can then expect Wolverine to pound the crap out of it, guaranteed.

"Going to a scene that will probably air in the movie before the Sentinel intro, we have Wolverine wandering in the forest. A lot of speculation has went on that he was in a confrontation with someone. We then got news about Omega Red and Gauntlet. We now have the complete story, but it doesn’t start with Wolverine or the two new cameos. Think about Phoenix for a moment. Because that is where this scene begins."

The fan site goes on:
"Explanation: The brotherhood want to get to the phoenix, she is confused and about to rise. Magneto knows this, and wants to take advantage of it. He splits up his men, and decides to create diversions so the X-men can't get to the phoenix. But he fails, because the scene clearly starts off….

"Part 1 - Angel, Beast, Cyclops, Xavier, & Storm are there where Jean Grey (The Dark Phoenix) Is rising, by there surprise Magneto and Mystique are also there. Xavier and his team seem to be there to aid Jean, while the brotherhood seems to be there to corrupt. A bit of powers begin to fly, brother hood vs. x-men and at a point phoenix versus everyone.

"Part 2 - Close by in the forest you can see Wolverine running, nothing was explained about that. He was probably on his way to the other older x-men. Next thing you know Omega Red, Gauntlet, Multiple Man and a bunch of Omega Red's henchman surround him. By some sort of coincidence some sort of military ( XMF was NOT told what the name of the faction was but we do know that they have something to do with the Sentinels. ) show up and the surround all four mutants. Multiple Man multiplies and takes them on, as Gauntlet and Omega Red take on Wolverine. This scene is brotherhood diversion one.

"To sum it up: Wolverine Vs Omega Red, Gauntlet, Multiple Man. Unknown faction against all the mutants. Double fight in one.

"Part 3 - As said, happening at the same time, a fight at the X-mansion begins. New brotherhood members Pyro, Scarlet Witch and Avalanche approach the frontal area of the Xavier Institute. Approaching them immediately are Rogue, Ice Man, Jubilee and X-Kid. Right away conflict flares and without any explanation to why they begin to fight, it seems to of been acknowledged it wasn't a friendly meet and greet.

"Part 3 summed up: Avalanche Vs Jubilee, Pyro Vs Ice Man & Rogue/X-Kid Vs Scarlet Witch.

"Part 4 - You can’t leave out the biggest and badest it seems, because when all this is going on, who would've thought Juggernaut was on campus as well. Luckily Colossus was around. Colossus faces off at the X-mansion with none other then Juggernaut. Good thing he had help available from x-student Kitty Pryde aka Shadow cat."

Based on what information? Where were you getting all that stuff from?

Or was some of it true at some point during the production?

That article is a right hotpotch with characters popping up all over the place in some sort of multiple attack. It doesn't sound feasible.

But I'd have preferred to have more of the X-Men witness Jean's emergence at Alkali Lake.

Oh yes, I remember him, although I never believed him or studied his posts that well and, even now, I don't know who he turned out to be in the end.

Some of that stuff was allegedly true at some point, perhaps in early drafts.

I'd love to know the total production history of X3... it would make great reading if we could get a definitive version.

I heard everything he said about this production - mostly from him. And, he didn't quite quit after it came out, either. That was interesting.

Sounds like Fox paid this guy to lie about the content in X3 with the purpose of hyping the movie. This is not that suprising. Something similar happened with the transformers movie. Two of Don Murphy's stooges went to the official movie website to perform damage control after the initial script was ripped to pieces by fans. The two stooges later admitted that Paramount paid them to falsely hype up the film on Murphy's website.

This 'news' was from the 'Ricky' era on these boards, and was a HUGE mistake on my part for believing the fool. He tricked a lot of people, and the news itself had been deleted as soon as the truth about Ricky was revealed. He did get the Sentinel part eerily close, though.

The sad thing is the news was not deleted from multiple comic book movie websites. What's even more disturbing is Fox did nothing to shoot down these rumours.
