With all this Orton-Vince-Christian drama going on I think Capt Charisma is the winner.. I mean, he's getting a lot of support from the fans.
I think he will have the title one more time in the near future.

my worry is that Vince hates been proven wrong and will go out of his way to prove that Christian doesn't deserve the title (have him lose to Ryder,e.g have Orton pin him cleanly again in his rematch)

Two things here:

Randy Orton's handling this pretty well and professionally. There's really no other way for him to react to those tweets. It's not his fault, he's doing what he's told.

Second, Christian's appeal to the WWE Universe was cleary underestimated and it makes me wonder if Vince might re-think his opinion that Christian can't carry the show. Maybe not some overnight decision but gradually.

I wonder how was he expecting people to react after giving Christian that emotional win on Sunday, celebrating with Edge, then snatching it away several days later. Was he expecting people to just go with the flow?

Considering how most celebs (let alone other wrestlers) make themselves sound like idiots on twitter I'm almost shocked to see him handle in such a professional way.

As for Vince, I remember reading once that he thinks of the audience as trained monkeys almost. They'll cheer if he wants them to cheer and boo when he wants them to not because of their own personal preferences. It could explain why he's so shocked and why he punishes people that get over on their own.

I like Orton's character. But I'm disappointed by the SD results. I had a feeling that Christian was going to be fed to Orton at some point, since Orton is the top dog on SD. I just wasn't expecting it so soon........

Unless this is all worked out and part of some larger storyline where Christian regains the title ( as a face or a heel ), I think it is extremely disrespectful to have Christian win the title and lose it in under a week. That means Christian only won cuz he's Edge's best friend ( storyline brother ). At least Rey held the title for a bit before losing it.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out, whether Orton or Christian turns......

Oh, and I've noticed a couple of Straight Edgers here on the board!!

I'm a proud Straight Edger, too!! :awesome:

we should form a SOCIETY or something............:word:

Cena's reaction automatically kills that line of thinking, so I don't know why Vince thinks that's how it is.

Christian is a good worker, great on the mic, won multiple titles (Light Heavyweight, Hardcore, European, Tag, Intercontinental, TNA World Heavyweight, ECW), got over with the fans, and has been with WWE for 10 years. He paid his dues.

Re: Spoiler:

I'm fine with Christian getting fu**ed over as long as

A.) Orton turns heel

or

B.) Christian wins the title back from RKO or somebody else

or

C.) A & B

Christian and Randy had a fun little feud in early 2005 so I hope we get to see that again! But I do hope this unpopular decision by WWE backfires on them and Christian gets even more support from the fans, but we must continue to buy Christian's merchandise and chant his name louder than ever repeatedly multiple times at shows in order for management to get their heads out of their asses and listen to us! Vince may have his feelings, but if somebody becomes a draw, he'll change his tune real quick!

So, do you have to listen to that lame emo crap to be straight edge? Cause that's a deal breaker.

No, but you are required to hire Drew Hankinson as your personal henchman for 4-5 months.

Kongs not being overly stiff. Most of the current divas have never worked matches that physical. Thats the problem. She's a monster heel. What did these girls expect? Powder puff punches?

Funny that I don't remember most of the legit wrestling Knockouts in TNA complaining and they had to do stuff that was way harder than what the divas are being asked to do.

True Barbies have never really worked a real match. Bra and panties, pillow fights and two minutes in the ring is what they're used to.

Glow girls have worked harder than they have. Even on WOW back in the day Selina Majors put Thug through a table.

I don't mind if she breaks a few of them , they are considerably frail.. beautiful girls but very frail

Welcome to the club :csad:

Breaking them is what's gonna bring in the ratings.

LMAO

I was under the impression straight edge is part of emo culture.

From my understanding, straight edge is part of emo culture but is not exclusive to it. Emo people made it a part of their culture not the other way around.

Well I guess I'm straight edge then.

Those where probably two of the best wrestlers on WOW. Terri Gold...mmmm. ridiculous push but I liked looking at her.

I've always thought it was better to wrestle in Japan or Mexico instead of the United States due to the status of pro wrestling in both of those countries compared to the United States.

Pro Wrestling in the United States = Joke (and for good reason)
Pro Wrestling in Mexico and Japan = Considered to be extremely popular, probably only second behind baseball in both countries in regards to popularity.

nope. at least, not for me.

for me, being straight edge means no drinking, no smoking, no drugs.

I was following that lifestyle ( and made my vows to do so ) long before I ever heard the term "straight edge."

I think Soccer is the most popular sport in Mexico followed by Wrestling. It'll be interesting to see what Vince does with Christian.

Yeah, I guess I've been straight edge and had no idea.

From Jericho's twitter.

Hey everyone *****ing about @Christian4Peeps losing the title, have u ever thought that maybe it's just the beginning of a bigger storyline?

Yes Chris, I DO think that... but losing the title after two days of being champion still makes the belt look like a joke. :cwink:

That was basically what I tweeted to him.

lol, yeah me too. I said I have no problem with Orton, as others said he's just doing his job. However, if they had a plan for a Christian and Orton feud... why kick it off like this? Why not just have Orton lose, snap and then beat Christian down afterward and run his mouth about how Christian doesn't deserve the WHC?

I'm willing to bet that there was a plan for this Christian/Orton thing to continue, however based on the early posts about Vince and Company being shocked at fan reaction to Christian losing maybe it will shift into high gear.

Now I did consider this before I was leaving work, but I just don't believe that Vince will put the strap back on Christian.

That being said, this could be a fantastic way of *really* getting Christian over, I mean main event over. Also, if he does somehow get back the title, he'll have earned it off his own back, and not just because Edge retired and Del Rio had to move brands.
