So that's Michelle, Maryse, and Alicia; I wanna see Kharma destroy both of the Bella Twins next, or break Melina in half.

I have a feeling Melina will be destroyed at a PPV. Then Kharma goes after Kelly Kelly. Primal scream before Implant buster is MITB, plus the match should be fairly decent. Plus, backstage hates her so that's gonna be extra sweet watching her get run over like a beaver on a highway.

When Kelly Kelly gets taken out I'm going to savor the moment.

Awesome main event match between Christian and Orton. It seems like the set up is there for Christian to turn heel. He walked out in shock and clearly upset that he lost.

What I hope will happen: Christian or Orton turns heel and Christian chases Orton to get the title back and eventually does. The predictable thing is a Christian heel turn but I'd rather it be Orton since he's a natural heel. Not going to happen if they want Orton as the face of the brand though.

Anyway, Christian has a proper more lengthy reign and they continue on some more until it reaches a conclusion of Orton going over.

What I fear will happen: Christian will get a rematch with Orton very soon and but at some point one or two guys (Barrett? Mark Henry? Both?) interfere and the Christian/Orton feud is forgotten about; brushed aside in favor of Christian and Orton feuding with two new people in two separate feuds.

Three appearances and she's already over with the crowd. She got a nice pop when her laugh piped up and the crowd was chanting "one more time" after she planted Alicia. They better not **** this up. This is what they need to make people care about the divas division again.

True. The sad thing is though (and this is a bad reflection on the rest of the Divas division as a whole, not Kong) Kong is getting a sizable BABYFACE reaction from the crowd. She's supposed to be a monster heel but a lot of people are cheering her on and want to see the other divas get demolished. Thats not what WWE is going for but thats whats happening.

Really shows me that a lot of people these days just don't give a crap about most of the divas nor should they. Kongs actually getting over because she's not cookie cutter.

Been more color on Women's World Titles than men's World Titles in the E. Vince must have that Jungle Fever! ;)

Anyway, Smackdown was awesome. I don't wanna spoil for anyone not finished, but here's my review. http://henchmanforhire.com/2011/05/wwe-friday-night-smackdown-56/

I've got a feeling Vince would screw anything...and it doesn't even necessarily have to have a pulse.

And so far she's gone after the heel divas first and being that there's only three of them left (Melina and the Bellas), I think once she's done with them THEN she'll get to Kelly, Eve, Rosa, Beth, etc.

Also, Layla needs a new theme; she's now the three diva to ever use that theme.

Did anyone laugh when the crowd chanted one more time? I did.

(To borrow from a Stone Cold gif I saw once):

First she Lol'd, then she serious'ed.

:hehe:

There really needs to a Kong version of that gif.

I think the Stone Cold one is his response to someone goin ''so I heard The Miz say he could beat you in a match''

I showed my 9 year old sister a couple Kong vs. Gail matches, and she really dug'em. I'm trying to get her into wrestling.

My 10 year old nephew just started getting into wrestling. He had no idea who batista was :hehe:

My sister knows who alot of the wrestlers are because we play the SvR games together sometimes. She was never interested in watching until now though.

Something I never thought I'd say:

Cody Rhodes needs an Intercontinental Championship run.

I don't think he's anywhere near main event ready yet. Not even close. But he should have a mid card title around his waist / over his shoulder.

sorry but now that i've seen it i've no sympathy for alica fox, i never want to see someone hurt, but that was a basic bump and she took it wrong. as i said before the ironic fact she got injured because of her own botch with her rep is really not lost on people

I really wish Mark Henry would stay away from the ME scene.

I got this from tumblr, but it's just what you're looking for.

- It was noted at yesterday's investors call that WWE will have 27,000 hours of their library material digitized by the middle of 2011, at a cost of $4 million. WWE is looking to spend $4-$5 million in the future to create new programming.

- Vince McMahon was asked about talent development during the call and he said that The Rock's return has made them more aware by having older names "brushing up" with younger talents like The Miz and Alberto Del Rio.

Vince feels that talent development is "going very well" and that Edge's retirement won't hurt their bottom line because they're doing so well with developing new talents.

It is going very good. Look at all the young bucks that have done well out of Rock's return...

big supporter of him,but his gimmick is starting to get stale, perhaps a belt might help.

Loved the Kidd/Cara match on Smackdown last night. reminded me of the wcw crusierweights.

I hate the lighting during Cara's matches, it's distracting.

In an interview with IGN.com, Chris Jericho was asked about a possible WWE return and he said the following:

"I don't want to go back and do the same thing. And do the same character I was doing last time. You constantly have to reinvent yourself. It's kind of a strange analogy but I think you'll pick it up when I say it - I always consider myself to be the Madonna of wrestling. And what I mean by that is 'constantly re-inventing yourself.' Every album Madonna does, she morphs into new styles of music and new looks. And when you work for the WWE, you work 52 weeks out of the year and on TV every week. You can't look the same or act the same every week. It gets boring. And I think that's why I've had such longevity as a performer and was always the guy to watch because people wanted to see what I did next. I even did that on Dancing with the Stars. And you have to do that or else you become predictable. And that's the worst thing you can become when you're in show business."

Jericho gets it. I wish WWE would take his lead and freshen up their characters every now and then. Also.....

According to Dave Meltzer, the mentality in WWE is that Undertaker is considered to be retired and that is a factor as to why Michelle McCool isn't wrestling anymore. While nobody wants to say it outright, Undertaker's physical condition is said to be far worse than what is being let on. WWE is still going to try to get him to compete at Wrestlemania 28 if his body can hold up, but according to friends of Undertaker, the talk is that he'll retire for good if he goes 20-0 at Wrestlemania.

Chris Jericho is the man. I love that guy.

As far as the youth movement goes, it really feels to me like WWE is trying. The Miz just had a 5 month long title reign. Del Rio has been booked strongly in the main event pretty much since his arrival. John Morrison continues to get pushed in that direction, even tho he constantly screws it up somehow. Dolph Ziggler is steadily being pushed in that direction. CM Punk, while perhaps not being pushed in the fashion many in the IWC want, he is considered a very legit main event player in WWE. And Sheamus, well had a spurt there where he wasn't booked strong, but has worked his way up to being a pretty legit main event guy in his own right. Plus, it seems like Mason Ryan is about to get a pretty solid push (whether it is too soon or not, it IS an example of them trying to push new talent). Cody Rhodes also got a big time win over Rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania.

The problem in my eyes isn't that WWE isn't pushing new guys, it's that there's not a ton of young guys that I want to see (in the main event). I love Daniel Bryan. Not a main eventer. Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler shouldn't be anywhere near a main event right now. Nor should Kofi Kingston. John Morrison doesn't have the full package, as great as a performer as he is. He's on the cusp tho. He really is. He can totally be a main event player at some point if he can get out of his own way.

Plus, Cena and Orton aren't exactly old. Yes, there are quite a few guys who won't be around for much longer - Rey Mysterio, Kane, Big Show - but how many of those guys are actual main stays in the world title picture anyways? Kane got a thank you reign. Rey Mysterio has had all of 2 reigns his career. Big Show, I can't remember the last time he held a title. A lot of the guys that are leaving soon are guys that haven't been carrying the company like that anyways.

Other guys that are leaving soon like Triple H and Undertaker, well, they haven't really been in the picture for some time already anyways. The WWE has already been making due without them. They both came back for a bigtime Wrestlemania match against each other then disappeared again.

The problem for me isn't so much that the WWE isn't building new guys, it's that they aren't doing it right. They throw a world title belt on the first young guy to come along with any semblance of maybe being over (Sheamus, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler) without realizing these guys aren't ready to be at the top of the mountain yet. Nobody wanted to see Sheamus or Swagger during their first title reigns. At least with Ziggler, it was a technicality, and since then they have handled him pretty properly and not tried to force him into the main event.

I give credit for the way they handled The Miz and Del Rio. Miz had Money In The Bank for a LONG time before he finally cashed it in. And Del Rio, they haven't even put the belt on him yet. For whatever reasons they've been able to be patient and hold off on giving him the belt. These guys have become more credible to me by teasing them in the main event, testing them, but not forcing them into it. Miz' title reign perhaps could have waited a few more months, but he didn't feel out of place as champion. Del Rio wouldn't feel out of place as champion to me. Guys like Sheamus and Swagger did. Guys like Ziggler would.

Let Sin Cara build up that credibility that he's getting, and he's a potential main event star as well.

I'm actually not too concerned about the future for WWE. I'm more concerned about crappy creative decisions like 5 day title reigns.

Caught the Layla/Fox match and the Kharma aftermath The early portion showed what was wrong with the Divas Division, none of these girls really wrestle and none of them know how to tell a story with their bodies. It's a two minute match that just comes and goes with no chemistry, psychology or intensity. Fox put up a little offense Layla did her finsiher, won and I didn't care.

Kharma's ring presence, energy and tone were a total contrast to what we saw earlier between Layla and Fox. She made you FEEL her energy, she built a mood with her entrance and commanded the ring. I LOL'd when Fox tried to pull some pathetic offense against her. Kharma told a great story with just her facial expressions and body language. The other Divas should be watching her tapes to learn how to do this stuff.

I saw the botch and that was all Fox's fault. The girl hasn't been trained on how to take a bump.

But I will say during and after Kharma laid out Fox Layla did a great job of selling the fear. The way she scurried around the ring off the stage with trepidation and fear was great and got Kharma over as a credible threat.
