I can believe some of it But most just seems so over the top&too crazy!!,A great read although#7 hurts IF actually true since I'm a HUGE Trips mark.

The Triple H story makes me LOL. I guess winning is a HUGE deal to the guy. Not really a shock but its still funny.

Interestingly, many former writers have claimed that they see WWE not as a professional, billion-dollar corporation, but a dark, sinister cult demanding unquestioning conformity and obedience from its followers, sorry, I mean, employees.

I've been thinking this for years. Vince not letting the writers eat all day while he sits in front of them and does seems like some sort of psychological tactic. All his "tests" and intimidation seem very cultish. WWE is McMahonTown.

Aha! So the rumor is true! Many years ago, I read a report that said Heidenreich was originally supposed to play an evil Nazi unfrozen from 1939!

The thing that shocks me about that idea is that Vince had the good taste to get up and leave. If it had been a few years before he might have said yes.

At least they did do what WCW did and name him "The Final Solution" WWE did give us Max Moon, the hero from the future, so a story about WWE begin pitched frozen Nazi Cyborg idea doesn't sound that far fetched.

Ah the good old days of WCW ripping off Mortal Kombat. He still uses that gimmick on the indies I think. I always wondered if Midway sicking the lawyers on WCW caused them to alter Glaciers look because pretty soon his tights became much less Subzeroish.

My guess is that Chris Masters and Drew McIntyre will not be playing any big roles in the near future. WWE Superstars at best and one or two RAW matches monthly..

It wouldn't be so bad if they gave smaller guys like that OTHER things to do. I really wish WWE would come up with something similar to the cruiserweight division for guys like Bourne, Kofi, Primo, Kidd, and Gabriel.

Let the title be primarily defended on Superstars and just let them go all out.

If you would have told me in 2000 about Angle filling Rock and Austins shoes while they were out, I would have said the exact same thing you just said about Miz and Swagger.

Kurt Angle went from being one of the WWE's most hated heels in 2000 to the companies most beloved face in 2001 when Rock and Austin took time off. If you would have told me in 2000 about Angle filling Rock and Austins shoes while they were out, I would have said the exact same thing you just said about Miz and Swagger.

Angle was actually funny in his early heel run though. And he could talk. Meaning he was entertaining. Swagger is lacking both of those traits. Angle almost always had the tools to work as a strong babyface.

And while Swagger is a beast Angle was a friggin machine. He picked up the in ring part of it scary fast and when he was in their being led by a good worker early on he could hang nose to nose (or in one particular case nose to GIGANTIC nose) with anyone.

Like I said Swagger is a great athlete but he hasn't often displayed Angles gifts or at least he hasn't been allowed to. He's got to learn to talk better and sound strong on the mic though.


As for The Miz

Miz is a *****ebag heel. Thats the very core of his act. Like Sage said he doesn't have the gifts to be the cool heel to cool babyface like the ROck or badass heel to badass babyface like HHH. He also doesn't have the in ring skill thats gotten many over as babyfaces.

They'd have to radically rethink some elements of his character. Could he be just as annoying and work as a face at all? His entire thing has been to rub it in peoples faces who said he'd never make it. *****ebag heel.

I can see The Miz being a cocky but likeable face but he's better as a heel. I think he should be like a Wally West type of character.

They'll probably push him as someone that loves to wr...entertain and wants to be the best at it since it was his life long dream. He's one of the few that was on tv talking about how much he wanted to be a wrestler before he became one.

By That logic Bret Hart had not business being a face either. Swagger isn't bad on the mic at all, he just has a lisp.

I was watching NXT for some reason and I have a few thoughts:

- Are they ever going to eliminate somebody?
- Nobody is ever going to take Lucky Cannon seriously because of the name. Lucky Cannon sounds like an alias porn star Ron Jeremy would use.
- Maryse is hot.
- So the winner of this season gets a spot next season? So stupid.

Some guys look a certain way, it's like you don't cast Steve Buscemi as a love interest in a rom com. It doesn't matter that I've not seen them attempt the role, none of them tick any of the boxes required to be a top face, they aren't cool, they don't look good, and they aren't badass.

I don't think Truth's promo changed a whole lot, he's still a sloppy worker and I doubt he'll be troubling Del Rio, Miz or Punk for the top heel spot on the roster any time soon. The only thing it does is make the time he is on screen less wasteful than it was.
