I'm surprised Sheamus's draft wasn't made a bigger deal of.

It was probably a last minute decision.

So what is everyone thinking? Christian wins at Extreme Rules to keep the title on Smackdown?

I want to say yes. Of course everyone is going to assume that so they may swerve us. They should never hold a draft a day before the ppv. I know it's last minute and next week is the Rock's hour long birthday segment but still.

I can see CM Punk leaving for awhile, just take a little break, and then return with a promise for better things...

I'm actually in support of the idea of forced vacations of roster members every now and then...to heel up nagging pains, and to keep the characters fresh and lessen repeated feuds. This would also force the company to strengthen the upper midcard because you'd have to cycle guys in and out without losing ratings.

I'd say so. It's the only way to have a world title on Smackdown since none of the participants in the RAW title match were drafted.

I agree about the title. :funny:

Punk's feeling burnt out and misused. He wants rest, but I'm sure if WWE gave him a better contract with a strong push, he'd hold out a little longer, or they can make a deal in which he'd take a break for a month and come back.

Well I feel pretty positive Punk wont go to TNA given his comments about the company so he'll either get the deal he wants or he'll take the time off and come back at a later point

I wouldn't mind CM Punk leaving for a bit but I think Vince might hold it against him.

These guys definitely need breaks. I'd liek to see them do something like that.
Hopefully CM Punk is given a four or five month hiatus, he could return for the rumble or something like that.

Ive noticed...we've all been getting along rather civilly lately....

I think we're all still in shock over the WWE no longer being called 'wrestling'.

-- SmackDown announcer Jack Korpela has launched a Twitter account.

-- Numerous WWE related terms trended on Twitter during today's WWE Draft including Kelly Kelly, Alex Riley, Drew McIntyre, Yoshi Tatsu, William Regal and Jack Swagger.

-- Florida based wrestling valet Trina Michaels plans to attend this Monday's Raw taping in Miami. She will be visiting friends in WWE.

-- It was reported yesterday that WWE officials discussed moving The Undertaker to Raw to make up for a top babyface character being transferred to SmackDown during the 2011 WWE Draft. While the draft came and went without The Deadman changing brands, company sources indicate he'll join Raw upon his return to television.

- Bry sent word that CompuTicket in South Africa confirms that WWE's World Tour will return to the country with SmackDown live shows in Cape Torn, Durban and Johannesburg from July 6th until July 10th. Tickets range from R270 to R505.

- One-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Kane will be appearing at the Kmart on Aurora Avenue in Seattle, Washington on May 22nd at 1pm. A wristband policy is in effect and the signing is open to the first 300 fans.

- WWE Studios' "That's What I Am" with Randy Orton will be released on DVD May 17th. It will be available in select theaters this Friday.

- Despite John Cena being drafted back to RAW last night, there was talk up until Sunday night of keeping him on the SmackDown brand with the idea that Randy Orton was a hot enough babyface to carry RAW on his own. Obviously WWE decided against that and sent Orton to SmackDown instead.

- Alberto Del Rio vs. John Cena is currently planned for SummerSlam, with either the World Heavyweight Title or the WWE Title on the line.

When WWE first booked Extreme Rules, they weren't planning on having the Draft first. Alberto Del Rio has been planned to win the World Title at the pay-per-view, and then he would have moved to RAW in the June Draft with The Miz keeping the WWE Title at Extreme Rules and taking the belt to SmackDown in June.

With the Draft being held early, there is a strong possibility now that Christian will win the World Title at Extreme Rules. If Christian wins, this would be the third pay-per-view since the Royal Rumble where Del Rio was scheduled to win the title but didn't.

With Vince McMahon changing things and bringing the Draft sooner in hope of locking in the SummerSlam main events early, plans will be changing.

- Fred sent word that WWE has release Alberto Del Rio's theme song on iTunes.

- After being eliminated on last night's WWE Tough Enough, Miss USA Rima Fakih hinted to fans that she was "not gone for good" from WWE. It's been speculated all along that no matter what the outcome of Tough Enough was, that Rima would have a job with WWE anyway.

- Reality TV personality and former TNA personality Jonny Fairplay indicated on Twitter this afternoon that he had a meeting with WWE at the SmackDown tapings in Greensboro, North Carolina this afternoon, near his home in Virginia. He wrote:

"Possibly the greatest meeting of my life! @wwe"

Fairplay's wife Michelle Deighton left WWE Tough Enough the week before last. It should be noted that it's not confirmed yet that Fairplay met with WWE officials.

For the record...

Chris Jericho is now available on Monday and Tuesday nights...

Bit is an understatement, BL.

Anyone seen the deleted scenes of Tough Enough on the website? One is Bret and Steve talking about what they do and don't miss about wrestling.

FYI everyone, I'm interviewing Rima tomorrow. So if you have any question suggestions, feel free to post them here.

Also, I'm in talks to interview Trish Stratus as well.
