I posted this in one of the other Halo 3 threads, but figured it may be more appropriate for this thread...

Okay, after playing a lot of multiplayer, I beginning to notice how wonky some of the attacks are. Most namely; the melee, assault rifle, and regular grenade.

I can empty two clips of an assault rifle into someones head, and all they do is turn around and fire about three shots into me with just the assault rifle, and I'm dead. Am I doing something wrong? Is the head not the weakest point?

With the mellee attacks, I empty out about a clip with the assault rifle in someone's back, run up to hit them, hit the B button, and I go flying back. The other guy never even turned around, and I'm flying half way across the screen.

And the grenades are very hit or miss. I'll be walking and a grenade will land about ten feet from, it goes off and I die. I'll throw a grenade under someone's feet, it explodes, and all I've done is damaged their shields. Or sometimes, I'll tag someone with a plasma, get killed, and the plasma never goes off.

Have any of you guys been having these problems?

Yeah, I noticed Melee in multiplayer seems bugged. For some reason, someone will be able to beat me down from halfway across the map.
