Or Mysterio too I guess. I don't know though, I've always considered Mysterio to have somewhat of a boastfull, in the spotlight type of presence when he appears(that might just be because of the way he's been drawn a lot, either pointing a finger of doom lol or his fists at his side like some emperor). I don't see Pattinson filling that costume or role, Chameleon on the other hand I've always felt to be a bit of a weakling or flat out *****.

And Pattison? Honestly, how many of you who say he is a good actor or better actor than McGuire have actually seen him in anything other than Twilight?

McGuire was outstanding in The Cider House Rules and Wonder Boys. This can't be denied. Pattison hasn't got ANYWHERE NEAR THAT LEVEL.

There is no such thing as truth when it comes to art. Everything can be denied when talking about a movie, a song, a book, an actor.... You liked his performance, maybe I did too, maybe I didn't, it doesn't make your statement true.

btw basing on his prestation in twilight, and maguire's prestation in spiderman (even if I have seen him in other movies, it don't think it's important as we are speaking about spiderman) I'm sure he won't be as bad as maguire. And my final statement is only my opinion, not the truth, so you're free to denie it ;-)

I surely can see who are the funny ones now. You barely have arguments yourselves. I think the most important things are the script and what the director wil do withhis actors. It's up to him to make his actors acting well. What's the point in crying like that before even knowing if Pattinson will truly be in t?

I didn't hate spiderman 3. I found the action scenes (except the last one) very fun. But still, the script wasn't good.

In spiderman 3, Topher Grace was bad in my opinion, but I can't blame hilm for the whole movie. With a good script, even his performance wouldn't have made the movie a bad one.

Tht's why I think you shouldn't worry about Pattinson. A good script is more important.

well, i loved all of it. however, as much as i am a fanboy, other fanboys did not. and fanboys are the biggest part in any superhero movie. to bring pattinson into this would..welll..bring it to "batman and robin" levels

Agreed. Maguire is wooden and butt ugly. Pattinson looks more like Peter Parker IMO.

How many movies have you seen him in, hmm? Harry Potter, thats it. And he wasn't even shown that often. I'm not saying he's not a good actor, but when your playing some lame adaption of a vampire that sparkles you lose all credibilty to do anyting else. Besides, I don't want to see an amazing movie and find out most of the people are seeing it because of the one actor. It pissed me off during Dark Knight, it'll piss me off now. By the way, for all you kids out there wondering, yes I'm one of those Anti-Twilighters.
