hey thanks.. that's actually a very nice compliment as the two biggest influences in my work have been jim lee and crmk who did the artwork for the marvel vs capcom and street fighter alpha series. Jim was my earliest influence but when i discovered CRMK I was hooked on the simplicity. So often times when I dont know how to draw something i'll fall back to my jim leeness haha.

Man. How did I manage to not post in here. I've been saying since your first post that your work had a definite Marvel Vs Capcom feel. Glad someone else picked up on it.

I'd love to see a Street Fighter piece from you....

hmmm yeah i havent done street fighter characters in a while but ive only drawn the ppl i liked like ryu, ken, fei long, and chun li... alright ill give ryu a shot tonite..

here;s ryu.. bout an hour or so.. I know i know.. the perspective is all wrong.. the hands are too big and the legs arent placed right.. i just kinda doodled it so i could practice coloring using this tutorial i found... but here's the street fighter pic. maybe ill do a better one later when i get more coloring practice in. enjoy!

I know i know.. the perspective is all wrong.. the hands are too big and the legs arent placed right.. i just kinda doodled it so i could practice coloring using this tutorial i found... but here's the street fighter pic. maybe ill do a better one later when i get more coloring practice in. enjoy!

That's pretty awesome. You're right about the legs. But the hands. Bigger is better. This is street fighter we're talking about

yeah i really just half-assed the legs.. lol.. I mean i just inked it without even pencilling it in.. after I did the legs i was like.. meh.. whatevers.. from that angle you probably wouldnt even see the legs that much anyway. I'll have to redeem myself.. lol.. i hate inking and coloring .. but it intrigues me.

tried to practice coloring again tonite.. man it can get confusing.. got so much to learn. Not really sure how long this one took me but feels like a couple hours. Just found an old scanned drawing and decided to have a go at it.
