here's some stuff that i scanned from my sketchbook... i pretty much do these doodles at work .. keeps me awake

so here's my clark and supes.. again.. wanted to have some resemblance to chris reeve in my rendition.. but i dont like the weak cowardly clark of the movies so i took cues from alex ross' rendition by slicking back his hair but giving him a little of chris reeve's features

For bats, im heavily influenced by jim lee , batman year one, and TNAS batman. I wanted bruce wayne to resemble the cartoon version. i hope you can all see some of chris reeve in the clark kent. The scan was too light.. oh well.. there's some banter there.. clark is calling bruce rich boy and bruce is calling him boyscout.



The following are just random doodles at work practicing my figure work. As you can tell the lines are much cleaner when im not working digitally since im just not used to the feel of the wacom yet.. It just will never feel the same as actually drawing on a piece of paper.

ppl drawn here : chibi spidey, storm, phoenix, daredevil, cap, cyclops, nightcrawler (referenced from rod guen.. man i love his stuff.. so im studying his technique), supes, bats, wolvie

ghost rider, silver surfer, human torch, psylocke, colossus, flash, moon knight, iceman, hulk

quicksilver (from silverhawks), ryu, spidey (can you tell i love drawing spidey? he's the most difficult to draw by far but im gettin a handle)


Enjoy guys, more to come... practice is really helping me alot.. and it's becoming easier and easier to come up with poses. just happy to get back into it again
