DC Television WW prequel - Paradise Lost

Time to time. I'm sure that in the first phase of this chapter 1 we will have this series, an animated series and a movie.
Superman hasn't come out yet and at the moment we only have 3 films with a release date and you're already getting paranoid.

Adria Arjona is followed by James Gunn... Momoa/Arjona are in a relationship... so maybe? I'm not sure I've seen her in anything, but she certainly has a Wonder Woman look to her. Not sure what age they're looking for Diana, I think she's early 30s.

I would love her. She's a great actress ("Andor", "Hit Man" and "Blink twice").

I don't think we'll get any. I think any Wonder Woman's world centered project is not going to see the light of day, as long as Gunn is incharge. Sorry.

Oh wow, I watched Andor, but I don't remember her being in it. I only watched it once, is the episodes were coming out though.

Well Gunn got a 5 years contract to head the DC, from what i heard. 27 months passed. 33 months left... Let just wait and see..

She was wasted and kind of could've been anyone. Hopefully wherever she shows up next is better and....reveals her not being an Amazon.

I think context matters a lot, we obviously don't know how much was changed after he became head of DCU. He said he made some minor rewrites but I would assume Circe was originally never going to show up again because she didn't really fit any other projects of his, and the DCEU prior wasn't really going places anyway which is probably why Circe was basically non-existent in most of the show.

I'm not saying this is an excuse to write Circe the way she was although I'm not familiar with the character in the comics I've gathered most people are upset by it, I just don't think in the shows original intent Circe really needed to matter more than "Magic User"

Considering that Superman dropped the “Legacy” and Supergirl has dropped the “Woman of Tomorrow” (and that another show titled Paradise is already airing), I’m curious what the title of this series will end up being if it happens.

Maybe Historia, if it takes enough cues from that comic?

Paradise Lost is moving along. It's slow-moving, but it's moving. And, yeah, I really love that project a lot.

Is that really directly connected to your larger plans for Wonder Woman in this space?

Yes. Well, yes and no. Wonder Woman's a separate thing. We're working on Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman's being written right now. So it's different. I mean, not different. They're connected. She's from f---ing Themyscira, so...
