Bring on the Magic to Paradise Island... Jason Fuchs IS the Script Writer

My understanding was that Fuchs was one of the 6 and then MacLaren will work with whatever they end up choosing.

Just because Fuchs was announced by trades doesn't mean he is the head guy. He could be just one of the six. In the end MacLaren will work with what she wants. Fuchs is expendible, this is MacLaren's project.

So you think MacLaren will write the screenplay??? MacLaren will get a story credit.

Maybe they're writing a trilogy like Avatar, two scripts per film?

Fuchs was announced by the trades not by one tweet.
I can say too that Fuchs along MacLaren will came with the final from those 6..

Wow. Six writers for six different scripts!

It's not a bad approach. I vaguely recall that they also have two writers working on Aquaman.

I just hope they choose the best script out of the six instead of trying to combine the "best" elements from six different scripts into a single script.

What if all six scripts combine to form one giant lion-shaped robotic megascript? :wow:

Six scripts seems like a bit too scattered of an approach.

I was assuming BvS established something about her character, but I guess not.

So, someone working for a company is saying that their COMPETITION doesn't know what they're doing. Yep, no bias there at all.

I think I could write for Wonder Woman. But I would need to spend a few weeks on a deserted tropical island alone with Gal Gadot first to get my inspiration. :p

Yikes. Things sound a little messy with the script for Wonder Woman.

But, with a new director on board, hopefully they can now focus their energy on producing a single, well-written, entertaining and action-packed script which does justice to the character of Wonder Woman and her mythology.

Article said nothing we didn't already know. All comparisons against Marvel with opinions from Marvel reps and cursory insiders. It's funny how people forget how rushed Avengers was. Marvel's movie developments haven't been always smooth.

This article is Hollywood worshiping Marvel's success and typically wanting to pattern all other movies by it. Anything different is met with huge skepticism and doubt because they like bankable formulas.

How does it sound at all messy? If they bring in 5 actors to test for Steve Trevor would that be messy too?

Does WB know what they want their Wonder Woman movie to be or not? If they are just throwing **** at the wall to see what sticks I don't see how that is a good thing. Marvel's shared universe may not be perfectly managed but at least they have an idea of what they want their movies to be.

if WB let MacLauren go because her vision doesnt match WB's then they do know what they want.

 I dunno why the most reliable source of information apparently is someone who works for a competing company. Do you expect them to say anything other than that their company is doing better and that their competition is clueless?

DC gets a lot of unwarranted hate while Marvel gets a free pass for everything :down

it's really quite pathetic

I am glad I am not the only one seeing it.
Six writers at Marvel = new and inventive
Six writers at WB/DC = throwing @#$% at the wall

They can't. It's really weird that the Marvel vs DC thing is affecting the media too. I've never seen it before. I've never read an article about Star Wars that was a sly jab at Star Trek.

What does Marvel Studio's defunct 2009 writers program have to do with conflicting reports on WB's approach to the Wonder Woman movie in the year 2015? Because I don't recall Marvel hiring six writers to work on one film at the same time. Not a comparable situation at all.
