This is an actual dating website that has a strict "no uglies" allowed. Its kinda mean...kinda funny...and kinda interesting all at the same time. Im really tempted to try and get an account (hopefully I won't be deemed too 'ugly') if its free just to see how the people look like. But yeah...wow :wow: :dry:
 
Yeah, I heard about them. I was contemplating making a thread about it before but decided against it. I read that they terminated people's memberships because they gained weight over the Christmas holidays. :funny:

Well... in all fairness... physical attractiveness is really important. Although I think it's too highly subjective to be determined by a website.

The problem with this kind of site is that it not only filters out ugly people but also many people who are actually attractive but are humble or insecure about their appearance.
 
No offense to anyone, but I think you'd have to be pretty vain to take a site like that seriously. I mean, it's important to be attracted to your significant other, but come on now!

Beauty is too subjective, but whatever floats their boat. If people who think they're beautiful want to get together on a site to meet other, then more power to them. That just means easier pickings for me, because I think the popular idea of beauty is way overrated anyway.
 
I sense a great number of bitter fuglies in the vicinity. :o
 
Wouldn't it be easy to submit a model's picture or something? How does the "screening" process work?

You know what, I'm overweight. I'm working on it, for real, but I'm overweight. I don't consider myself ugly at all, but my weight contributes to my looks, so I'm trying to lose some pounds. Honestly, I think that site is bull. No offense intended though to you LS :woot:
I mean some skinny women date bigger men and find them attractive, so really beauty is in the eye of the beholder....granted those women are usually some of the ones who cheat on their husbands with the pool boy first, but at some point it went like that. My point is, and if the scientific data about women getting shorter and chubbier over time hold true, than maybe we should all take a look at what's really important. But I do agree there needs to be some physical attraction going on, but everyone has their own tastes, so yeah.
