Comics X-23's foot claws....

Just a question that Ive found myself wondering lately..

Has it been explained where X-23 foot claws are housed? I always thought that they were in her shins because if they are in her feet, she wouldnt be able to bend them.

Any idea's??

It would have to be in her feet, because if their anything like Wolverine's claws she wouldn't be able to bend her ankle when their extended.

Wolverine shouldn't be able to bend his hands either, but he can. His claws are often longer than his hands.

And heres another question......

If x-23 is a clone of Wolvie, then does that mean that he has a claw in each foot that he doesnt know about???

the foot claw in X-23 is for defence. wolverine has that defense gene, but it took a famale to activate it. and i like the foot claw, it makes her BETTER than wolverine in a way

Um, I don't know what kind of double jointed freak you are, but I can't bend my feet in half.

Her claws are no longer than her foot, and wouldn't be housed anywhere in her foot that would bend, so they wouldn't cause any problems.

I'm not a fan of X-23 period.

Oh I can't stand the character either. I think she's totally pointless and there are a lot of other characters that could have benefited from the time and effort that was and is given to her instead. Just that the foot thing is just one of those things that really annoys me and if she didn't have them, it's possible my dislike, bordering on hate, might be actually be less.

I see no reason why she is needed in New X-Men, characters like Wallflower, Icarus, and Anole should be the forefront rather than her. Here is hope that Anole actually benefits from all the deaths.

I agree, effort and time could have been given to putting focus on already established, if even background characters in New X-men. Instead the new writers brough in her and put her in the spotlight when it clearly wasn't needed. There were already enough characters, established already that the readers of the title knew about.

Anyone of them could have been used. Yet the writers decided to go on a killing spree kill almost all background and secondary characters, even after depowering them. Then going on to killing off characters issue by issue as a afterward. Then at the same time bring in their own pet character.

Just some of the things that is wrong and horrible about New X-men since the new writers took over and pretty much destroyed what the other writers and creators of the title had build up and developed.
