Sorry but I’m actually one of the few people who liked that run. It wasn’t perfect but he did a lot with underused characters that’s still being referenced today. At least it wasn’t boring

Hope it works out. I don't get all the complaining about Beau De Mayo. All he literally did was revive a classic animated series that he never worked on or created. He had nothing to do with the original animated series, and why it was so good.

My one request is that they find a role for Alyson Court in a future season. They got the original voices of Gambit and Jean Grey back as other characters in the first season. I understand why Alyson Court did not wish to play Jubilee again, and I think that was fine, but she should still play another character later on.

He gave us a GREAT season of a revival...unlike Just Like That.

Since Disney wants to release the show annually, talking about S4&5 makes sense. What if and Zombies were created YEARS before release. Might as well just renew it for 3 more seasons then go from there. We deserve it....and still interested in how the show will be w/out De Mayo. Hopefully just as gay.

TAS and 97 are two very different things.

With the exception of Dark Phoenix saga, TAS was never really serialized. The stories and characters were more "static" with no much development. And the adaptations were very, very much faithful, which some fans can obviously appreciate. But '97 found a great balance of mixing the adaptations in a way that felt faithful and different at the same time.

'97 had also a much more rich and complex take on the characters. Finally we got to see a Jean who doesn't faint every 5 seconds or who's not reduced to Dark Phoenix or an attraction to Logan. The themes are more adults here too. Showing a genocide of people fighting for a land is not nothing. The dialogues are way more rich, complex and beautiful here compared to TAS.

We and the show deserve high quality, and to be honest, what concerns me more is not the "it has to be DeMayo" thing. It's the "Does it have to be Chauncey?!?!?"

And of course Marvel/Disney being Marvel/Disney.
