In Ireland, Dr. MacTaggert suddenly hears Xavier speak, hinting that he may have survived (since in the ethics class near the beginning of the movie, he is seen telling his students about the possibility of shifting one's mind into a brain-dead person in order to sustain one's life).

SO how is this gonna effect the sequels. It is so weird!!! DISCUSS! What actually happeend!!?? What did u think of this decsiosn?

Mine had the magneto ending. Id be very suprised if they did different endings for different cinemas.

Yea. Mine had the xavier on Muir Island.Id doubt they would change it forother cinemas.

Bwahah. That would have been great. After the credits a big wedding. No explanation to how they are alive. Just a big wedding....with elephants....and a monkey.

The "end credit scene" wasn't show in our theater. The projectionist simply faded out during the end credits. This was so sorely disappointing since I have don't have enough money to go see the movie again and check this scene.

Terrible, terrible scene. It just felt like a cope-out by the filmmakers. Not only do they "kill" off Xavier too early in the movie, they don't give enough time to mourne, it figures that he's actually alive? And how the hell did he get there?! You know, one would think that neither Logar nor Ororo would ever leave that house without being 100% sure that he was dead, I mean THEY MADE HIS FREAKIN' FUNERAL!!! On top of that, I don't think the writers even thought about the consequences of that scene. I mean, if Charlie is alive, shouldn't Scott be alive also? Why would Jean kill him and not Xavier?

It's released in USA tonight, most of the rest of the world has it
