Alan has an option to return, is just that Fox didn't want him in X3, but that doesn't mean they can't use him again.
i seem to remember him saying that as bad as the makeup was..he would be willing to do it if singer came back
i know..and it makes me sad![]()
Money talks and if they offer him enough money I bet you he would come back and do another film.
i thought that the two movie deal thing didnt mean direct sequels...

hhm..maybe it was ratner then...or maybe im just wrong completely...
Cumming is definitely signed on, and he's just waiting for the script and director to fall in place so he'll at least know his schedule for the next year.
"I signed for two films so I'm going to. The last I heard is that we're starting on the 20th of June, but I don't think that's going to because they don't have a script or a director yet. But apparently they have to release it in May of 2006 for some reason, so it's going to be shot in the summer. But it's one of these things that I just want to know what I'm going to do because it affects your whole life. You can't do other things because you know that's quite a large lump of time. I'm going to do this show on Broadway which I've moved until January of next year just to make sure that I'm finished X-Men 3. Stuff like that."
Guys!

Alan cumming talking about X3 (and about Singer too) from January 31st, 2005 (same year X3 was filmed)
one quote:
He was agreed to do it! I didn't know this.
I think it was Fox who didn't use him.
does that mean his contract is nulified? or is it still up in the air?
