I dunno if anyone else agrees, but this ian somerhalder kid does have some good similarities of gambit. He's not so bulky, but muscular, and with black and red contacts, he could really play the part.

when rogue finds out the cure isn't permanent, she grows increasingly desparate for an answer and so does warren when his wings are damaged in battle.

all very feasible.

That sounds like a viable story line to bring Gambit in. Psylocke was in the third as a villian. (Granted it was just a little more than a cameo) I would like to see Gambit as a hero, but I would just like to see him on the screen
