With the cast getting insainley larger bye x-men 3, i think they should cut the cast down and only have a few big names. I think a good way to do this would be to move away from the X-Men and have a what happeend after X-Men was disbanded...

this is my thoughts.

If Lauren Shuler Donner and Fox are enough smarts they will have Singer come back to franchise.

If they wanna go in a third X-Men: First Class' sequel with Mr. Sinister i will be more satisfied (imagine a young Cyclops and his brother Havok vs. Sinister!).

For a 4th movie i prefer something like age of Apocalypse with Angel (Ben Foster) transform into Archangel.

Bring back Cyclops (James Marsden) with an escamotage (he's in a sorta of coma with a villain-now-good Emma Frost, played by Sigourney Weaver like Singer wants for his third movie), bring back the original cast (also Nightcrawler).

Made a 2h 30 minutes movie. Intense.

So:
- No Xavier (Patrick Stewart can only appears as a voice in the beginning or end or as a cameo appearance like a flash-back);
- Bring back James Marsden/Cyclops and bring back as the official leader;
- An old Emma Frost who helps the X-Men and helps Cyclops from the Phoenix's attack of the third one.
- Angel transformed into Archangel by Apocalypse.

Then bring back:
- Wolverine (co-leader, he's obviously famous and a marketing force for the movie);
- Storm (as leader of the school);
- Nightcrawler;
- Iceman;
- Colossus;
- Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page must come back...With Lockhead!);
- more Jubilee;
- Beast (Kelsey Grammer) as more a doctor than a mutant fighter.

The cure was temporary. Rogue (Anna Paquin) must come back, maybe a minor role but i like to see a scene where she absorb Angel or Storm's energy and he learn to fly.

Magneto must come back as a shadow character, maybe help Apocalypse. Maybe a cameo or minor role also for Mystique.

NO PYRO. NO CALLISTO. NO XAVIER. NO SABRETOOTH OR TOAD OR DEATHSTRIKE. These characters are dead.

Who's Robert Knepper playing? And who's the girl on the top right?

And where does that leave Gambit? He's an essential character in the X-Men universe... He's a complex character, has a good back story and has this personality girls fall for. Babe-magnet I would say. ;)

Well, this is the cinematic universe so they have changed things.

I love Taylor Kitsch, i love his Gambit. I prefer to see Gambit in the past, so in an X-Men First Class sequel or another Wolverine movie (the third one?) or a spin-off. He simply doesn't fit in a 4th movie, maybe in a 5th or 6th movie they can must fit him but in a 4th with a so large cast he can be only another mutant like colossus or angel in the third one.

He should get a solo film, like Wolverine. :woot:

Robert Knepper would be my choice for Sinister, girl in top right was the actress who played siryn in X-Men films. she only had a cameo rolel if they made this movie they would probably recast.

But i was thinking... how x-men 3 ended. Wolverine and Storm would be too busy running that school with Wolverine doing the odd job through the goverment ala Beast. With Xavier gone the inferstructure of the x-men is essential gone except for the few members that ws left, Like Colossus, Shadow Cat, Rogue who lost her powers but every expects her to regain them and Iceman.

So my thoughts are X-Men are disbanded. However Beast who works for the goverment realises there needs to be a mutant line of defense that works on both sides. So He convinces the goverment to make X-Factor - he invites two experianced members Iceman and Repowered Rogue to join the team. As Jamie Madrox was at the magneto camp you could pretty much say he was caught by the goverment again and thus they could use this to having him serve as part of the X-Factor Group. Then i was thinking well the more recent line up of X-Factor has Siryn in it and as she was a student of xaviers we could probably make her the trainiee... Also on there team would be Forge who sort of becomes the default leader of the group in the field. as Beast cant be seen to be working with X-Factor.

On the villian side, i was thinking by the point of last stand mutants were well known, and there powers go from great fearful abilities to minor boring abilities. This is where Sinster comes in. He appears with the notion that he can cure mutants or at least level the playing field with humans. However Sinisters own agenda is that hes a perfectionist and thus cant stand mutant abilities with no use. Using the humans fears he forms a team do the whole Morlock Massicure storyline.

Creed returns as a lacky of Sinister. Still played by Liev but will look more feral like the sabretooth from the first movie. Gambit will be part of the team as he will not have any choice.

The whole story will culminate in a love story between Rogue and Gambit, Sinister attempting to bring on an apocalyptic war and X-Factor being the new x-men team.

Since they've killed off Scott, Jean, and kinda Prof. X, I thought maybe they could do the New Mutants or something, using Iceman, Shadowcat, Colossus, Angel, and Jubilee.

The set-up in my view should be...

Days of Future Past.

The school is dead. Mutants are being rounded up after a chaotic end to a temporary cure. Storm, Rogue and Iceman are in captivity, joined by Gambit. Wolverine is still at large, but can have a small role in the film.

Cyclops and Angel are among a few special interest mutants that have been taken into a more secure facility to undergo experiments. Sinister is involved in this, contracted by the government but with his own motives.

Other characters could return as per actor availablity/willingness, but I think the above are the essential players. I'd love Kelsey Grammar's Beast to return, but if he wasn't to do so, his assassination could be a catalyst for the new equilibrium, paying homage to Xavier's role in the comic book story.

X-3 was to the franchise was Ultimatum was to the Ultimate universe. If they are going to continue, it is going to have to be with someone who could breathe fresh life into the franchise and make use of the freedom allocated with the dead/dispatched characters.
-No Magneto
-No Professor X
-No Cyclops
-No Jean Grey
-No Mystique

What they need:

-Sentinels.

It's tragic that one of the most iconic enemies from the franchise was reduced to a thirty second silhouette in a simulation. Since a good deal of the cast has been purged, they will not have to go the 'Days of Future Past' route as they have a roster that could accommodate more development/screentime, and not waste time bringing characters back from the dead. Sure, I was disappointed that the Cyclops and Wolverine relationship did not have a decent arc, but wasting half an hour + of screentime to bring him back is not going to make it better, either. The sentinels do not have to be the major part of the plot, but I would not mind having them engage in the Xmen in one capacity or another.

-Conflict between Wolverine and other Xmen running the school. What I love about the most recent issues of Legacy is the tension and conflicts between Rogue and Wolverine. Whoever ascends to administrator position should contrast against Wolverine.

-Classic Villain: They have a great rogues' gallery to comb through for candidates. I would prefer they stick to mutants, as outside of Magneto, the opposition in the films has been normal people (bigots) and has run its mileage. If they could avoid aliens for the film, that would work. Save them for the sequel.

-Larger battles. First Class set the template for how the battles should be handled,as well as the required scope. Make it outdoors, in daylight, and in an interesting locale. No more government facilities.

My cast for X4: X-Men 4.

X-Men
-Wolverine
-Storm
-Rogue (strong Rogue)
-Iceman (always on his Ice-form)
-Angel
-Psylocke (the new X-member)

Marauders the Villains

-Mr. Sinister
-Spiral
-Omega Red
-Marrow

Just 10 major characters and the movie should be at least 2 hours. I want some heavy character development and jaw-dropping action scenes.

I love your idea for a comic book but that is simply not the X-Men. The people want to see the core characters.

I'm writing a sequel called "X Men: Reborn" as a scriptwriting exercise. Unfortunately I won't be able to send it to Fox... big companies never take sequels or copyrighted material "on spec" (unsolicited) for huge legal reasons. They wouldn't even read it. But I'm going to work on it anyway. I'm posting it about 8-10 pages at a time on fanfiction.net.

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8180424/1/

"Summary: Sequel to Last Stand. A renowned geneticist revives Charles Xavier in a new body, but the X Men quickly realize his intentions are "sinister". Nightcrawler rejoins the team and discovers the truth of his past. A shadowy thief from New Orleans joins and attempts to steal Rogue's heart. Can Gambit be trusted to help the X Men, or will he betray them?"

Plz to reed? :atp:
