X-Men Legends lll

I want unlockable characters that are actully Xmen, not Deadpool or Iron Man. And Shadowcat. And Emma, I kinda liked her, they could do cool stuff with her.

All I want for sure in Legends III is that they don't **** around with the continuity so much. Legends II, while fun gameplay wise, is terrible with the story, and it contradicts the source material so much in so many places, that it just distracts from the gameplay for me.
 
Aslong as Wolverine is in the X-men games I'll buy them oh yeah or Juggernaut.

If the Legends series would be just for 1 Player I'd say sure, bring on the heavy story. But in a 4 Player game this wouldn't be too good because your friends would've have to watch you talking to all kind of people and get bored to death. That's what happened in X-Men Legends 1.

I myself haven't thought too much about XMIII, so far all I know is that I want Psyocke back and skins from the 90's. Out of all the costumes those are my favorites.

If there is an Xmen legends 3, Sinister will probably be the boss. If that is the case, I would really like to see the Inferno storyline with Madelyn Pryor, Havok, Cyclops, and Jean Grey all playing a big part :up:

Regardless, I'd like to see more RPG sociality in the games, and yes, I'd like to see four players doing it at the same time. If Halo can be split screen, then why can't XML3?

I don't know if I want an 'easy' button that takes out timed missions and beefs up all the powers... I'd like it to be more FUN, meaning timed missions, when lost, shouldn't make you start from the beginning (plenty save points throughout) and the method for fixing the problem should be clear (was not in XML1 that's for sure). I'd also like the action to be more animated and less colorblasted. If cyclops' head goes back when you punch him, you don't have to make a little color explosion for it.

I'd like, more than anything, characters to stick to their actual powers instead of magically developing new ones to match up RPG paradigms... just beef up stuff they already have. And they should start out relatively powerful... you know, to cater to the action crowd just like you cater to the RPG crowd.

I could spot character and plot specifics all day, but Phoenix would be an awesome enemy, especially if she actually came out to be a mastermind instead of just a reckless force of nature...
 
For all intents and purposes, Marvel Ultimate Alliance IS XML3.

But if there were another X-game, I'd love to see X23 , more costumes, more characters and Onslaught.

yeah i agree....and if crystal chronicles can have 4 players and be a rpg why can't x-men be that same way too?
 
it would be cool to see jean as the villian in the story or something.
i defenitly wanna see shadowcat and psylocke with a new hair du becuase the one she had before was just horrible.
timed missions have to go, cause they just sucked
better graphics would be better along with quiksliver and a playble character.
even though there is difficulties with having him and shadowcat in the game, they should be able to figure something out.
defenitly wanna see many different outfits choices. would be cool too see the movie costumes too.

Um you do know it was a videogame adaptation of the stories for people who don't nessicarily read comics right? and did you REALLY want it done panel for panel like the comics? How boring would that be knowing exactly what's gonna happen...

That's one thing I want to see next time. I get that people with bad vision, and small TVs don't like split screen. But there are some missions where sticking together just doesn't make sense. You could clear the levels so much faster if you and your buddies didn't have to share the screen 24/7.

They made all the bosses immovable so that they couldn't be thrown around or knocked back, and I don't really get why since they all tell you how to beat them anyways. In fact that's usually all they will tell you.

Why not just make the battles more complex? And drop a couple hints before the battle, instead of having bosses yammering on about how to beat them during it.

A create a mutant feature might be cool, as long as there are reasonable limits on the types of powers you can learn. (Well I guess since most of the stronger powers are unlocked by their weaker versions it would all balance out.)

I would like to see a lot less items though. Most of them I do not use. They should make them like in traditional RPGs where you buy stronger weapons as you progress through the game. And have some of them made a part of the story.

But most of them I just hold on until I get to Forge so I can sell them, and they ended up causing one of the games major glitches.
 
I hated how Living Monolith talked, since you mention them describing weaknesses.

Now that would be cool. How about an RPG X-Men Game where your own Mutant & after you use your powers for the First Time some of the X-Men try to recruit you. Or have the Brotherhood get to you first & then you check out the X-Men & decide which Team you want to be on good or bad (something like KOTOR) & there should be something where if you join the Brotherhood you can betray them to go to the X-Men at the end & that can happen the other way around
 
thats sucha cool idea, the story could go different ways. it would have a higher re-play value.
