That's the point of Trask's death, it's suppose to be unexpected and shocking. The creepy figure doesn't have much more in this story after the X-Men leave Muir Island.Mr Lex Luthor said:

This is looking great but it seems like it some of it is set straight after X3 and yet Emma told Scott he had been in a come for 3 years, can you clear it up either way or am I just getting the thing a little muddled. It just feels like Storm outing the school and Jeans death are much closer in the timeline than 3 years.

It's 3 years later. Hmm. I can't really say. There's still quite alot too be told. Right now the script sits at 88 pages..
There's still a little bit of discovery left at Muir Island, and Sinister's work before the final battle, as well as the final battle, then a conclusion.
Overall the script should be over 120 something pages I'd suspect. >_> So, there's no real clue.

Now.
INT. WHITE HOUSE – LINCOLN BED ROOM – SECONDS LATER
Gambit is turning the room upside down with Sabretooth, secret service agents lay out on the floor in this room as well. Pyro and Sinister step into the room. Pyro now appears to have some sort of device to control his abilities much like the one he had in X-Men: The Last Stand.
SINISTER
Any info boys?
GAMBIT
Don’t think much gonna be found in here.
Pyro begins to rip paintings from the walls. He stops at one. Investigates a small portion of metal showing in the wall.
SINISTER
Smart boy.
PYRO
Caper films.
Sinister laughs. Gambit gives an annoyed look to this. Sabretooth begins to approach the portion of the steel and begins to rip into the wall. Eventually a whole portion of steel is showing and a door is hidden and sealed by a keypad.
GAMBIT
Now boys, step back and let me show you how a thief works.
Gambit begins to work on the keypad, when Callisto enters the room.
CALLISTO
Hey, I think you better check this one out.
Callisto hands Sinister a file. His face grows in concern.
CALLISTO
It appears as if more is going on than originally thought.
SINISTER
Indeed. Boys, get into that room at all costs.
Sinister throws the file to the side. We finally get a chance to see what it’s labeled. “MASTERMOLD.”
INT. MUIR ISLAND – LAB
All the X-Men have rejoined and are looking down in concern and shock. Emma looks on at them.
CYCLOPS
What happened here?
STORM
I…I can’t begin to even fathom that Moira and Sean are dead. I…don’t want to…lose anyone else.
MAGNETO
I agree. There has been far too much death.
KITTY
Who could have done this? Who is it that we saw? Heard? Why would they harm Ms. MacTaggart?
Storm puts her arm around Kitty.
CYCLOPS
This whole situation is just too inconclusive; we don’t have anything to go on.
MAGNETO
Besides the fact, that old friends are dead.
Cyclops gives him a look.
CYCLOPS
We don’t know that.
BEAST
Whatever occurrence happened here today, we must press forward as we’ve done in the past.
Wolverine turns from having found something.
WOLVERINE
There are charts here.
BEAST
That is not unusual, Logan, this is after all a lab.
WOLVERINE
No, look at the name of the patient.
He hands the chart to Beast.
BEAST
My word…
CYCLOPS
What is it?
STORM
What does it say?
Cecilia reads from over Beast’s arm.
CECILIA
C. Xavier.
Storm looks at Cyclops in shock. Everyone begins to perk up in interest.
STORM
Charles? But how?
MAGNETO
No, no, it can’t be, my dear old friend is dead. I…have to tell you all something. Something that Charles was keeping from all of you. Only I, Charles, and Moira knew.
CUT TO:
EXT. XAVIER GROUNDS – GRAVE SITES – SAME TIME
A pair of legs begins to walk past Xavier, Jean and Scott’s graves. The graves begin to shake as the figure passes. Scott’s is destroyed from the rumble as is Jean’s. The figure disappears and gathers closer to the house, as he does so the dirt around the graves begins to levitate.
CUT TO:
INT. WHITE HOUSE – LINCOLN BEDROOM – SAME TIME
Gambit has finished cracking the keypad on the door and it swings open. The group begins to gather closer and closer.
GAMBIT
Little ol’me comes through thick and thin again.
PYRO
Took ya long enough.
Pyro smiles a sarcastic smile at Gambit. Gambit wants to beat the boy’s ass, but he doesn’t. In the small room sits a chest.
SINISTER
Well, ladies and gentlemen. It does appear, we’ve hit the jackpot.
Suddenly, a large group of police men, secret service agents, FBI all stampedes onto the room.
POLICEMAN #1
Put your scummy paws up now! You murderers!
SINISTER
Party poopers.
Sinister begins to charge energy in hands. Callisto smiles. Sabretooth roars, Gambit gathers a deck of cards in his hands, and Pyro has a flame lit.
SINISTER
Attack them! Leave no survivors!
CUT TO:
INT. MUIR ISLAND – LAB ROOM – SECONDS LATER.
The scene is the same. Finally, someone breaks the silence.
CYCLOPS
What do you mean? You mean the Professor was keeping more from us.
MAGNETO
Yes, for your own good. Much like he did for Jean.
WOLVERINE
That’s certainly debatable.
MAGNETO
Yes, indeed it is, but this is not about Jean. It’s about a man. A man that Charles loved dearly. A man that was like a brother. In fact, he was. Charles was born with a twin brother, Cedric. Together, they were quite a telepathic pair.
The mass is shocked.
MAGNETO
He was with us for many years. Side by side, forming the school with us, witnessed his brother crippled at the mercy of his only friend. Me. I regret that day ever so much. Cedric fought back. Fought for his brother. I was jealous with rage that day. It was the day I left Charles dream, but not before crippling him and his life. You, Scott, you were there, you were all so young, as was Jean, and Hank. Sean and Ororo had not joined yet. You all tried to fight me off the Professor and Cedric. You loved them both dearly. I was too much for you at the time. We fought for some time, but eventually you all lost. Cedric came upon the situation. He decided to fight for his brother. For his new found children, for you I fought him and much like Charles. I destroyed him.
Storm grits her teeth. Cyclops joins her in this act.
STORM
What are you saying? What did you do?
MAGNETO
I obliterated Cedric. I used too much of the blunt force of my abilities on him. He wound up comatose, his brain shut off completely. Charles never wanted to see me again. I consider it a miracle to this day that he ever gave me a bit of redemption. But perhaps that what was so great about Charles Xavier, he was forgiving man. I’m sorry…you had to hear this from me and not him.
CYCLOPS
You crippled him! You basically killed his brother!
Cyclops begins to attack him when Beast stops him.
BEAST
How do we not remember this?
MAGNETO
Charles didn’t want you to. You all were so devastated to find out what had happened to Cedric, that he erased him from existence practically. He didn’t want to see you hurting. He sent Cedric to Moira’s in hopes that Moira would be able to awaken him. Fix him. Then everything would be right again. Moira couldn’t help him however…
The whole room is silent, shocked, disturbed.
CYCLOPS
He erased his brother? Why didn’t he just let us cope?
MAGNETO
Charles, loved you and every one of his students so much…he didn’t want to see you hurt…you were his new family. That’s why he did the things he did. It can be viewed as an immoral act, it can be viewed as crossing the line, but he set the mental blocks and the erasing of Cedric from memory, because he was doing what he thought best.
CYCLOPS
I can’t believe this. I can’t…
MAGNETO
I’m sorry...
Magneto begins to walk forward and away from the lab, as if heading towards the jet, leaving the group, stunned and in silence.
