Hi, this is going to sound strange, even bizzare but i feel there was one character in the x-men origins wolverine movie, that could and should appear again... That character is Bolt.
Now i know what your thinking, Bolt? he is a vertually unknown marvel character, his power is easy simulated as he controls electricity or technology. plus he was killed off by sabretooth in the wolverine movie, so how could he return?
Despite all of that, when i watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine... you could immediatly identify with all the characters, mostly because we knew them from the comic books, we knew blob has alot of anger because of his weight. I mean i remember reading a Blob origin story once and im sure he wasnt born fat, in fact im sure he was normal up until puberty where he started putting on accessive weight via the mutation... anyway thats besides the point. We knew Wade would become deadpool or the barakapool as ive heard that name scattered around this form, we know sabretooth, wolverine, silver fox, agent zero and wraith from the weapon x stories... But the one character that didnt get enough of an explination, Bolt...
He just didnt fit into the crowd, for a start he looks the emotional type, wouldnt harm a fly, this is something apparent from what happend to him when he left weapon x, He took a low profile job in a circus to hide his ability.
So, the first thing about Bolt is, why was he in Strykers team? everyone else had a motive, the only thing i can think of is that Bolt was blackmailed or stryker had something over him. Second question is, if sabretooth was stealing powers for the deadpool, why? when he killed Bolt did deadpool not have the ability to control electric. although i considered that if deadpool was able to control technology then stryker would not be able to control him via a Mac. 3rd question is why end up in a circus? if he could control technology, why didnt he just make himself rich and hire peope to protect him from someone like oh i dont know sabretooth?
So i feel we need more of this character, and i think i know how he ended up working with stryker.
X-Men Origins: Gambit
Now you wonder how Bolt would play into the story based in new orleans. But hear me out, With virtually nothing explained about Bolts presence, consider this, what if they were to make a Gambit Origin movie... This would have to take place before Wolverines movie, well a Mid-quel i think there called where it took place just before his appearance in the bar in new orleans.
We could simply explain that...

Is the story of the alliance between the assisins and thieves guilds that help each other out, the union is set by the marriage between the daughter of the leader of assisins guild, Bella-Donna to the son of the leader of the theives guild Remy, However when Bella-Donna's father finds out Remy is adopted and not a true theive guild member. A split between the two guilds cause a war between them, they attack Remy forcing him to leave for the sake of his guild, where Bella-Donna is not told of this and is lead to believe Remy has just left her. Leaving her bitter and revengeful, anyway a year or so later we learn the assisins guild is tracking down BOLT to Las Vegas where he is evening the odds of the machines. As the assisn guild finds him, he is saved by Remy who has been hiding out in Vegas learning card tricks along the way. now that the assisins guild lead by Bella Donna has found Remy she wants revenge and so Remy and Bolt form an alliance as Remy tries to save bolt in exchange for bolt to save Remy. learning that Remy is alive Bella-Donna simply orders the hit on all theive guild members which leads to Remy being the only one left, finding this out he plots revenge however he meets Dr.Nathaniel Essex, who is offers to enhance his powers and bolts in exchange that they work for his pre-maruader team. The too are supercharged and Remy and Bolt take on the assisins guild, where upon Bella-Donna learns her father had caused the war between the guilds in the first place and helps remy to take down the guild, but she dies from it. Later Essex wants repayment for his enhancements as he requires information on what he is working on. As they manage to break in, when they find some captured mutants Remy attempts to free them as Bolt goes to the computer room to find the information, whilts there Bolt is caught by Stryker, He is impressed by Bolts power and tells him that they were waiting for him, He informs Bolt that the assisins guild used Bolt so they could find Gambit, knowing hew as used as a pawn in the two guilds war, Bolt agrees to join Stryker and informs him of Gambits presence in the cells. To which Gambit and prisoned for two years and Bolt joins, Wade, Logan, Creed, Wraith, Zero and Dukes to Lagos...
