Picking this up as a birthday present today as well as vol. 1 and 2 of the 90's televison series coming out next week

gonna be an X Men filled next couple of weeks

picked this up at Target this morning along with Wolverine and The X Men. I have too much merch for this movie which I haven't even seen yet, and supposedly isn't that great. What's wrong with me?

A movie can not be "that great" and still be quite enjoyable...That is..a FINISHED movie that no one has seen.

Next monday the Pathe cinema in Utrecht are organizing an X-Men movie marathon with as finale a midnight showing of X-Men Origins.Tickets cost 24 euros a piece....

I find it funny people complaining over marketing for a movie.

In all sense, that shaving razor products make perfect sense. Now if you did that product with Batman, Spidey or Iron Man it would be weird, but with Wolvie it works.

Agreed. There's not much pull for me to buy it though. Nothin' special about it really. Now if it had something scribed on it or a cool gimmick built into it, it would be mine.

The Wolverine Buddy Poke

To promote the premiere of Fox Film’s new film X Men Origins, the film studio wanted to take advantage of the popularity of social networking site Orkut.

One of the most popular applications on Orkut is The Buddy Poke. The Buddy Poke is essentially a greeting delivered by an avatar from one friend to another. Users can express themselves via the character.

For the purpose of the movie promotion, an avatar of Wolverine was created – the first time the application has been used by an advertiser. Users of the Wolverine Buddy Poke can be select two options – either “claws out” or “ask to respond” – to send to friends. Having selected the greeting, their own avatar gets personalized to look more like wolverine – complete with huge claws and side burns. Then a small animation of the newly wolfish avatar can be sent to a friend. The Buddy Poke is not branded with the name of the film at all – the idea is simply to make a subtle association with the film, which launches at the end of April.

the weird thing is..at Walmart, the electronic razor with trimmer is cheaper than the regular razor...
