I just hope that the box set is like the box set they released for X2, with new packaging and artwork, and a little book that goes over every character in the movies.

If it's just a cardboard box with the 3 DVD's in their original packaging, I won't buy it.

I will. DD didn't get a DC for a long time after the DVD release, so I have no idea if or when an X3 DC would be put out.

All I know is if they do a boxset, they better get an extended/director's cut of all the films.

X2 doesn't need it really. X-Men could use those few deleted already on the previous DVDs back in. The Last Stand needs basically ever scene damn near extended in some way along with any scenes that were cut.

I can't see myself forking over any money to Fox for a director's cut, either. If these rumored scenes are on there,

1) Magneto vs. Colossus
2) Colossus vs. Juggernaut
3) Phoenix effects
4) Bobby's iceslide

then Fox doesn't deserve any of our $$$.

As much as I love my 42" plasma tv, these are scenes I wanted to see first hand ON THE BIG SCREEN....WITH OTHER FANS CHEERING ALONG WITH ME.

I think the reason they were cut is because they werent finished. I think Brett is still working on it right now. Those scenes and more looked half assed and clunky but it was cool they tried to include them in a cut of the film.

If that is the case, then that would certainly change my opinion completely. If Tom Rothman had absolutely nothing to do with this, then I owe him an apology.

While I was a little disappointed by the end result, I totally give Brett props for doing his best to be all things to all people (the studio and the fans) by trying to include as many fanboy moments as possible, in the time allowed.

i will buy the x3 dvd because i enjoyed it even tho it wasnt as good as x2... more importantly tho if theres an extended edition wich there will be cuz approximently 20 min were cut then ill be first in line
