This might be a little off topic, but I find these bilingual labels annoying, especially the one for The Last Stand. I'm printing off another because it simply looks bad. Maybe its just me being picky....

Ok I know this has probably been discussed to death but why is there no 'making of' on the dvd? I have the UK edition. Or have I just missed it? The dvd is prety bad overall.

Yep thats the one I have but I thought there would be something better. The 'making of' on X2 was 10 times better. All of the features are made up of clips from the film and the actors talking about the same stuff. Disappointing.

As X-Maniac said, there is a pretty extensive "making of" on the DVD when you combine the footage of the various documentaries/featurettes.

I still don't see how all that stuff adds up to a 'pretty bad' DVD.

A woman at work (our showbiz editor) who just bought the DVD came in today and was going on and on about how fantastic the features on the bonus disc were. Another woman who bought it says she has spent ages going through the character profiles with her very young son, who is growing up a superhero fanatic.

Although they didn't do a step-by-step 'making of', you can easily get a sense of the process from the features that are included.

Personally, and that's just my opinion, I still prefer a linear docu in the lines of the ones found on... uh... eh... The Phantom Menace, Lord of the Rings, Hellboy, etc.

All i was saying was that I would have preferred something along the lines of the X2 dvd. I think it was around an hour of behind the scenes stuff.

Eh.... fox loves money, but fox is a corporation so its not surprising. If we can find out the date a 2 disc dvd is released in US , ill wait it out.

I applaud anyone else who isnt buying this edition. Brett Ratner cofirmed a Special Edition and I heard The Early Show say sometime next year it hits stores. That one seems to be the set when they get their act together after seeing fan responses to the dvd sets out now and how dissapointing they are.

Watch me wait.

I found the deleted/alternative scenes to be quite dissapointing, the only one I really liked was Bobby freezing Phat and Colossus following up with the smash.
