X-Men: The Last Stand on DVD October 3

Can I just ask - you know the DTS 6.1 audio option on the DVD, can you still play that if you only have 5 speakers + subwoofer ie. if you don't have the 6th "Surround Back" speaker? Do you miss out on certain bits of audio if you play it with only 5 speakers? Anyone tried it yet?

My dvd has about a 10 second pause after Bobby tells Kitty "you can walk through walls can't you" or something like that. Anybody else have that? It's on every version(commentary & non-commentary) Also the Brotherhood & Take a Stand menus are identical. (21 deleted scenes & 3 alternate endings)

Are there Easter Eggs somewhere on mine? Could someone here tell me how to access them? Thanks.

10 seconds? Are you sure it's 10 seconds? Cause you just hit the layer change, but it wouldn't last 10 seconds. 2, 3 seconds TOPS, unless your DVD player really sucks.

The layer change from the R1 version is on a different location from the R2.

wow, i just rewatched it for the 4th complete time. its better 10 fold. this time i had my speakers set up, and 6.1. i payed closer attention this time, and it was really 50% better then ever.

everything made a little more sense this time around, and i noticed smaller details, liek the sun setting while magneto was looking at the lady in her SUV, things of that nature.

i feel really good about this. my favorite trilogy yet. (only to be topped by batman begins future if it goes beyond part 2)

You had to set up your speakers? My HT is born ready. The sound of my DVD player doesn't even go to the TV, it goes directly to the HT thru the optical cable.

It seems like 10 seconds to me. Yes my player sucks. I don't have a DVD option with my PC.

Did you order with a credit card? I got a standard edtion & Collector's edition dvd of X-Men 3 from Amazon.com & I got both on release date which was October 3rd. I do sometimes have similar experiences with Amazon.com were it seems like it takes them forever before they ship my orders out.

Wow, nice... although the technique they chose to hold the DVDs is terrible... I had to make some separate envelopes for my Hulk copy.

Just wondering- is the 'making of' good? Or is it just silly commentaries of "We've done our best here", or "I think this one is the best of the trilogy" or "You're really gonna like it"
